KIM PORTER ABOUT TO GET PAID?

Well according to celebrity attorneys, she should be. Porter - who has had three children with Diddy may be looking to receive $1.2 million a year:
“With Misa Hylton-Brim receiving approximately $30,000 a month, there is no reason that Ms. Porter shouldn’t be able to get close to $100,000 or more per month in child support,” celebrity divorce lawyer Raoul Felder told Page Six. “That amount accounts for Porter having three children with Combs and inflation in the years since Misa received the ruling in her case.
That’s right Diddy, fix ya face and open that wallet…
DAVE CHAPPELLE HOSPITALIZED OVER THE WEEKEND

Dave Chappelle was rushed to the hospital over the weekend for physical exhaustion. He stayed at an unnamed facility for 12 hours before he was finally sent home.
Earlier reports stated that he was entering the hospital due to drug abuse after callers to a DC radio station mentioned he was entering rehab. However, Chappelle’s rep corrected this rumor to TMZ. Dave has been currently on tour doing stand up gigs.
QUEEN LATIFAH’S FAT BURGER

Queen Latifah is set to open her own FatBurger joint in Miami this year. The rapper turned actress is working aside others behind South Beach’s new fast-food franchise, and admits it has been her dream for years.
I’ve never even heard of this place, but if Latifah is behind it I’ll check it out. Be sure to check her out in “Hairspray” which hits theaters this weekend.
DOGGY DOG WORLD

Star athlete Michael Vick was indicted federal charges operating illegal and brutal dogfighting on his property:
Vick was charged with illegal competitive dogfighting, which involves training pit bulls to fight against other dogs. When authorities searched Vick’s property this month, they found 54 pit bulls and a host of brutal items including a “rape stand,” used to hold dogs in place for mating; an electric treadmill modified for dogs and a bloodied piece of carpeting.
Graves of seven pit bulls were found inside “Bad Newz Kennels,” a Virginia property owned by Vick. The dogs were allegedly killed after testing whether they would be good fighters. According to documents, dogfights would end when one dog died or backed down, and dogs were sometimes put to death by drowning, strangulation, hanging, gunshot, electrocution or some other method.
What a damn waste. If convicted, he could face up to six years in prison and $350,000 in fines or major punishment from the NFL.

lmao Bashy!!
As much as i don’t like Will Smiths alleged marital arrangement, i will always respect him for being intelligent enough to handle his divorce with the grace, maturity and wisdom of a man instead of a silly little boy. When asked about the large amount of money he would have to part with, he said something to the effect that it was more important to him that the mother of his son be ok–that his family, despite it having broken up, not have to struggle. And we have never heard any whining from him since, despite reportedly paying 24,000 a month in child support. One years wages could pay kim’s child support easy for diddy. But i betcha the thought of paying a lump sum to her would send him bananas despite the fact that he is mega loaded. He prefers to embarass his sons by running to the media every 2 seconds to demonize their respective mothers.
We are supposed to kill animals humanely if we want them for food. Some slaughter houses do torture those cows/chickens and this is wrong. However people who buy meat would obvioulsy not buy from a particular vendor if they knew the creature had been tortured.Most times, we don’t till a story breaks. There are laws put in place to fine these offenders. Mike’s case (if he is guilty) is diff because dog fighting is also known to be a cruel thing.
How can you go buy dogs with the intent to torture them and liken this to buying chicken to eat?
Forget the fact that he’s an athlete, if he is guilty then imo, its much worse that he has no common human decency to understand that torturing animals for sport, money or fun is sick.
Poor Dave. I blame his wife. She is probably on his neck day in day out whining as to why he walked away from 50 mill. It makes no sense for someone to have the courage and strength to reject bad, escape to find some peace then ruturn only to reach for the drugs. Someone must obviously be challenging his initial decision enough to make him unable to cope again. Lol ok i’m just picking on the woman, maybe she’s a saint.Hope he gets better.
Hail to the Queen!!

Wow,
You guys are way out of control.
Judah is just enjoying the shyt out of this, although I was laughing too while reading.
lol.
Judah, I liked what you said in an earlier post about Dave’s situation. Bro was making a fortune for the big man behind the desk but at the same time putting it out there like it was nobodies business. I have seen him in interviews. He is hella sharp!A black man with mad talent and a serious brain. They couldn’t pay him what he is really worht. He was and is a real threat to the powers that be. I always felt this was one of the reasons for his show being pulled but not too many people talking about it.
You spoke it so clearly.
I hear ya Pittbboi and I do see where Tammy is coming from although I don’t agree with everything. I will say that there is a difference in someone choosing to torture an animal for fun and what the meat industry represents.
For all intents and purposes, the meat industry is there to serve the public. There are supposed to be laws in place to protect the animals but unfortunately, when there are people in control and feel that they have power over an innocent creature, they are going to abuse it. The meat industry in its entirety should not be viewed as something bad. It is peoples intentions that make it bad. And, I do agree that the very food we eat has been sadly tortured but there is a difference (while it is a real thin line) between what people like Vick has “supposedly” done and the proccess by which an animal is killed to serve as food. The killing proccess is supposed to be humane when it comes to the food industry but like I said it is a real gray area because no matter how you slice it, no pun intended, is not a pretty sight nor is it like dying in your sleep and drifting up towards the heavens. Antime an animal is killed for whatever purpose, it is borderline torture because they did not die of natural causes.
Dog fighting is just morbid. To watch an animal fight until it can’t anymore is just sick just as it is when a man stomps on a chicken for fun and then it is served on our plates. It is how the individual chooses to treat that animal that is under their control. I hope I am not contradicting myself. Just trying to make my point that all of you guys have a point to what you are saying and that it the situations are difficult to compair.
You have to look at the people and their intentions behind the power they feel they have.
Now yall settle down now and don’t take this issue to seriously, after all, it is not Tammy who is out there torturing animals and nor Pittbboi. You both have a point to make but it got out of hand.
Peace

Didnt Kim hear 50 cents new song. Gone have a baby by him and get u another mil. I swear yo some women are nothing but opportunist. What these women fail to realize is that after 18 years is up and that check stop coming what then. Hopefully those who are smart invest wisely. Kim seems a least smart enough to do that but look how she got there. I would think most ppl would rather get rich off their own power and not from having babies but hey what do i know.

Oh and is anyone surprised by Kim and the money? We all knew this was the next step, and to think that people on here really thought marriage was the next thing for them. Puff daddy is the larger icon of what is already happening in the Black community. Is anyone surprised. There is just a lot of money involved. And, I’m sorry, there is no amount of money that can make up for a two parent household, especially for young black children. It can’t just be a man and woman in the household, it has to be two loving, worshoping God everyday kind of household. That is the only way to fight off the demons of temptation for any man and woman.
These people won’t ever learn until they have one foot in the grave. And then they will be praying to GOD to forgive them for all of their indiscretions. Funny how that works!
And don’t for one second think she was not thinking about getting paid while they were taking care of business in the bed. She knew in the back of her mind that this dude was not going to settle down with her but she opened her leggs anyway because the money just looks so damn good. I will not congradulate a woman like this that knows what the weekness is of a man and will expoit it to get paid.
Puffy is a total fool for going there with her. He should have used a condom.
They don’t cost that much and can save a brother from lifetime of problems and at shyt load of cash.
But oh well, what is done is done. A man reaps what he sows (harvests what he plants, gets what he deserves.

@144
What’s your overall point though? Should 1Tammy assume he’s guilty and succumb to the same pathetically weak mob mentality that you have? She didn’t even say he’s innocent. All she said was that she’ll wait for the trial, which is what any sane person would do. Is this about dogs, or is this about some black man that dogged you out? You still got me buggin’ out off that serial killer nonsense, lol.
@146 Whytry
Well, if you’re the same person I remember from that current events post, you probably do get it but don’t want to say. First off, we know that Al Sharpton and Russell Simmons are a part of the white man’s black community defense system. They defend the elite white community from the blacks and they also stop blacks from addressing the real community issues. It’s the main reason why blacks, as a race, don’t have a damn thing but what they do have or create they want to “share” (have stolen from them). Men like Al’s and Russell’s job is to APPEAR as affluent black men concerned with the black community when in reality their job is to make the doctrines and values of the elite whites more palatable for the black community. In other words, blacks are less likely to listen to a white man telling them to accept homosexuality than they are Uncle Russell and Aunt Al, lol. Homosexual allegations have followed both Al Sharpton and Russell Simmons for years. Notice that Russell spear-headed this “hip-hop culture” madness to get the youth to worship these clowns. Now the children really do look to these people as “gods”. They’re both masons, which means that their true allegiance always has been and always will be with the “brotherhood”. That’s why the white man funnels all the racial situations (i.e. Don Imus, Michael “Kramer” Richards) through Sharpton and Messy Jesse Jackson. They clean that shit up for him real good.
I believe that this vendetta against Vick is really about him not wanting to “get down with the program” (i.e. become a bisexual) like so many black entertainers and athletes have. I could be wrong, but these type of things are intuitive. There’s no real way to prove or disprove. You have to be able to see Satan to analyze things like this at a spiritual level.(II Cor 10:4,5, Eph 6:12, I Pet 5:8, Rev 12:12)
It’s funny that you bring up that animal cruelty law, because I was just thinking about how many laws are being drafted, passed, and amended in these last days. The white man has what he considers “white crimes” (i.e. money laundering, embezzlement, pedophilia) and he has “black crimes” (i.e. drug distribution, illegal gun possession, etc.). Dog-fighting, cockfighting, etc.; these are black/minority crimes. This is why so many laws are being altered, so that they can pursue these young black men with more vigilance (Psa 94:20). Unfortunately, these brothers are too simple to acknowledge it or see it (Isa 42:20).
@153
I did enjoy the argument, lol. I like seeing Pittboi get amped up, doin’ his silly-ass google searches to try to act like he knows everything.
@Pittboi
You demeaned yourself with that comment in #125. Don’t nobody wanna hear how smart the dicks were you were suckin’, lol. It’s not even about you being a homosexual because I wouldn’t want to hear how smart the dicks were that a woman was suckin’. C’mon man. It’s like you’re trying so hard to be this “proud homosexual” that you tried too damn hard that time. Not even mentioning how you called her a “bitch”. Aren’t you one of those “stop the ‘N’ WORD” negroes? In regards to what race believes the media more, I don’t know why I have to explain this to you but white people cannot be judged at the same barometer as blacks when it comes to believing the media. Firstly whites have the advantage of knowing that the media will not skew anything against them because of race or color. Secondly, whites are known to say things that they don’t mean (i.e. “I’ll vote for Obama”). This is why blacks, of all people, should wait until the resolution of the trial and not jump the gun. The whites, when they do jump the gun, have a little more validity because they know it’s not a racial issue with their own media.

Judah,
Yeah it’s me from the Current Events post. You made some great points about Al, Jesse, and Russell. I don’t know the real reason why they are going after him like this, but it’s been apparent for quite a while. I hate to hear stuff like that about the Mason’s because my father was a Mason. I’ve been reading up on it though.
In my short life I have developed a pretty healthy skepticism. I have a background in psychology & law and I have seen a lot. You are absolutely correct as far as laws being amended and enacted to keep us at bay. I now truly understand the saying “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.” I stopped trying to convince people of anything. Who am I to tell them what’s true & what’s not? I don’t have the answers. I think it’s easier for people to accept what’s given to them. That way they don’t have to think or do their own research.
Michael Vick’s VA home was raided on April 25th. On May 3rd, a week later, this act was signed into law & took effect IMMEDIATELY. The Humane Society had been pushing for almost 6 years then all of a sudden it passes like that? Not coincidental. The reason it was taking so long is that the proponents of dog fighting & cockfighting had poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into stopping this legislation. Even the Humane Society admits that. But hey, it was right on time, I guess.
If Michael Vick participated or knew of these activities he is dead wrong. I don’t want anyone to think that I am taking up for him because I am not. They need someone to make an example out of & he fits the bill. There is no satisfaction in busting up a no-name operation. Like you said earlier, maybe he pissed someone off because there are players engaged in all kinds of illegal activities, many of which you will never hear.

Tianna,
you never heard of FatBurger? Whaaaat? You gotta visit California…..
but @ 71… FatBurger ain’t really that good so I don’t think that it’s gonna be a big money maker… If Latifah lives out there that’s probably why she wants to open on in FL. Because she likes it and there’s none nearby… In Ladera Heights, Cali Magic Johnson has a Fridays and a Starbucks and stuff… when it first opened, everybody was like… OMG…. LET’S GO B/C IT’S MAGIC’S TGI FRIDAYS…
Now it gets average business… celebs have the luxory of opening businesses and it won’t matter if they fail or do average… Her name associated with a burger stand can only go so far and bring in so many customers…. If I opened a business and I was just breaking even, it would kinda suck!
Kim Porter will be straight regardless of how much money she gets from Puff Daddy… I was watching “The Brothers” w/ Shemar Moore and them and I noticed that she was in that movie….
It sucks about Micheal Vick… he was a little to serious about dog fighting though so he’ll get charged with something…. How come black athletes always in trouble with the law? DaNg!!!! I don’t think he’ll get jail time, but he won’t be getting no dog food endorsements any time soon either…. He messed up his money game BiG time…
I’m done now…

Of course I demeaned myself with that comment, that was the point. It’s kinda how in some debates you’ll retort with a bible quote even after someone’s just made fun of how you can only ever respond with bible quotes to prove your “points”. lol Yes, I’m proud of my homosexuality, and part of that pride lies in not giving a rat’s ass about what anyone thinks. She brought it up like it was something that I should be ashamed of, as a tool to demean me, so I kept to going to a) show her how NOT ashamed of it I was, and b) show her how I could use it to STILL make her ass look dumb as bricks. Point blank.
And of course you like seeing me get riled up, Judah. I knew that from the day you let it slip that you wait with “baited breath” for my opinions. In regards to “googling” things, please. Vegetarianism and its various forms and practices are common knowledge, which makes me question 1TAMMY’s vegan roots if she didn’t even know that. I didn’t have to “google” shit.
And yeah I called her a bitch. Your point?
Anyway, back to the ‘meat’ of your response to me. Here you go again making sweeping generalizations of race relations using a litmus test that you basically pull out of your ass. Blacks can’t be judged on the same barometer as whites when it comes to opinion? I disagree. Whites get suckered in by the media all the time–EVERYONE does. I’d also say that whites get their fair bit of foul-play when it comes to race in the media–the KKKramer incident and Isaiah Washington incident is proof enough of that. Oh, and white people are know for saying things they don’t mean? Judah, come on…this has to be one of the most poorly crafted arguments I’ve seen from you. That alone is a statement that could never be proven of being a symptom of being white, but it CAN be proved that people from every race can be guilty of saying things they don’t mean. You’ve lost your point here.
This Mike Vick thing is not racially motivated, and frankly, I’d see most people having the same opinion on the subject not matter WHAT the guy’s race was. Wait, I take that back. If the guy wasn’t black there wouldn’t be so many people here quick to blindly defend the man because they feel like they have to do a favor for the “brotha” out of “community”. If anything, I’d say the media attention on this have been fair in their viciousness. At least, from what I’ve seen. Then again, that usually is the case. In this country, the media is the closest thing we have to racial neutrality. They’ll jump on ANYTHING that’ll get them a good story and ratings, no matter what color it is. Don’t believe me? Pay attention to this whole Chris Benoit fiasco. Media’s practically ripping that incident a new one.

This post is to all of the persons in this forum who said Kim Porter should be getting paid and she deserves to get the money. I cannot stand this mindset. Let me explain to you it shouldn’t be about getting paid it should be about this sperm donor making a bunch of kids and not taking care of them. Sure he’s financially viable to pay child support but no amount of child support will amount to him stepping up to the plate and being a FATHER!! Child support doesn’t provide you with a relationship with your child. Child support doesn’t take the place of the man physically being there and taking responsibility for his kids. If parenting were a one person thing why in the hell does it take two to create a child.
Lastly, CHILD SUPPORT IS FOR THE CHILD!! NOT FOR THE MOM HAVE THIS AND HAVE THAT! Some of these posts just piss me off..”She’s about to get paid.”
“She deserves to get that money.” WTF?! I guess for the people who made those idiotic comments would rather get paid and not have the man step up to the plate and be EQUALLY responsible for the child. Meaning, spending time, taking the time to raise his children, being and active father…So sad that money takes precedent.

@157 ~ Actually what 1Tammy implied is that the police are wrongly targeting him. As far as her being a vegan, from what I’ve read, I’m really doubting that. Does she have to “validate” herself to me. No. Why? Because I don’t give a fuck. If you two groupies could get off Vicks jock, you might be able to admit that what he did was fucked up. It’s so fucked up, it doesn’t even compare to eating a cow, IMO.
As far as him being “targeted” because he’s black or a celebrity, I’m so sick of hearing that shit. As I mentioned before it doesn’t matter what race you are or what job you have, you need to be held accountable for your actions. That’s the bottom line. You need to get the stars out of your eyes and see Michael for what he is….a sadistic, dog murder. Before you know, you’re gonna be coming back at me telling me that OJ REALLY didn’t murder his wife and that Michael Jackson REALLY didn’t molest any children.

Sis, those of us that see what’s going on can only meditate on these events as they transpire so that we don’t become confused and have our judgement clouded like 95% of our people. They’ll realize the error of their ways in the concentration camps.
@Pittboi
Why are you always talking about people pulling things out of asses? Lol, can’t you just not be a homo for one conversation. Whoo, an ego run amok…the arrogance of the homosexual in America. When I said that “baited breath” shit, that’s what’s called sarcasm, lol. I enjoy reading a few people’s comments for entertainment, only a couple for edification. You don’t have anything edifying to say. The only thing I can ever infer from your comments is how enamored you are with caucasian people and that you have the mark of the beast. When the Lord wakes up the real black men, that weak, homosexual virulence will be eliminated from our communities forever. I don’t ever remember you having anything positive to say about a heterosexual black male and certainly nothing pertinent concerning any racial topics. That nonsense you concocted about the media in relation to caucasian people only highlights your fear of speaking truthfully about racial issues. I would have much more respect for you, and other homosexuals, if you just admit that you know that the white man butters your bread and brings security to your lifestyle. Instead you try to controvert, twist, turn, and contrive things into non-racial issues.
Please explain how whites were the recipients of foul play from the media in the Kramer incident? Lol, it was on videotape (an “illegal taping” if I remember you correctly, lmao), and the only thing Kramer got was an elongated vacation, a trip to see his masonic buddy Al Sharptongue, tacit support from white America, and millions in revenue from the 75% boost in sales from the Seinfeld DVD. Imus will come back hotter than ever, as I predicted and the real people that will suffer is the simple black man that calls his woman a “ho” on a rap song. Now for you to say that the media is color blind really shows how foolish you are, lmao. What planet are you from, to be a black man (allegedly) and say that shit, Ur-anus? You’re comparing a man that killed his wife, child, and himself to Michael Vick and their respective coverage in the media. Once again, Michael Vick has not had his say in a court of law but according to you he’s equivalent to a man that WE KNOW committed double murder suicide. Wow, to be a heterosexual black man in America, lol. I’ll also need your breakdown of the Isaiah Washington situation and how the white community was misled by their media. He got what he deserved for being foolish. I guess you think he should’ve been publicly flogged like Denzel in “Glory” for daring to choke a caucasian homosexual huh?
In regards to caucasians saying things they don’t mean and being reknowned LIARS, I knew that you’d have an issue with that. The Native Americans themselves said that the white man speaks with a “forked-tongue”. The Bible (gasp) also speaks on the qualities of these people. Their own version of history, as bastardized as it is, condemns them. From the Reconquista to the Renaissance to the Age of Discovery to the Inquistion to the enslavement of the blacks, hispanics, and Native Americans, the Age of Imperialism, the founding of Australia and Tanzania, the conquest of Africa, India, China, Japan and now the Middle East and the war against Islam. The fabrication of history and the whitewashing of not just the Bible, but the adulteration od the historical records of all races. The list is literally limitless. This is why people get so irate when the truth comes out, because the white man is viewed as a god (II Cor 11:14, oh no not the Bible). Undefeatable, allegedly.
In regards to you calling the lady a bitch, I answered that the first time. You’re one of those stop the “N Word” negroes (allegedly). That logically means that you must hold yourself to the same standard that you esteem for others if you believe that abolishing a word is that important. Instead, like the real phony that you and most other homos and lesbians are, your true hatred for heterosexual men and women came out. The fact is that you’re dealing with a spirit of Satan. Only someone of Satan would compare being proud to be a homosexual to someone that is versed in the Lord’s Word and try to make the two equivalent. These black women that hang out with the homosexual man don’t understand the hatred that the homosexual man harbors for them because he wishes that he WAS THEM. That’s why you called her a “bitch” so quickly.

I’m not in awe of any man. Can he have his day in court? You’re not even intelligent or sane enough to elongate any form of conversation with. I can see why the black man doesn’t want to get married. Actually it’s the court system that fails us. Especially where celebrities are concerned. Yeah their life is out there for the public to judge, but when it really comes down to it, do they really get punished for their crimes? *coughs* Paris???
Why do you feel the need to go on with this petty name calling? We’re trying to have a discussion on our thoughts as far as a new story is concerned. Do I really think that our opinions are going to sway this case either way? No I don’t. I’m just expressing my disbelief at the situation. Being humans, who are extremely judgemental, I find it hard to believe that you have no thoughts on his innocence or guilt. Sounds like some people don’t want to believe it because he’s such a good football player. It’s a shame that this is going to blow over just because he’s a celebrity. Practically speaking, the only difference between Kim Porter, and someone like, Juanita Jordan or Jada Pinkett is the ceremony and wedding cake. Micheal Jordan had a white mistress for the entire time he was married to Juanita and it’s reported that Jada and Will have an “open” marriage. In all cases the sanctity of marriage was clearly not honored.
People cheered Juanita’s $150 million settlement [her children are almost grown] and many hail Will and Jada as the epitome of true love.
What’s the difference here?

@Tammy, I asked you if you lived in VA because the local news here is way more detailed than what they show on MSNBC and ESPN relating to the topic at hand. (VICK) It was just strange to me how they were originally were going after his nephew for drug charges, and ended up diggin up the back yard looking for dogs. All this illegal stuff going on in this state, they don’t take it that far if its an average Joe. This is the Commonwealth of VA. And any fines they can get him to pay, goes to the state. We could use some new roads around here, ya know. : ) Its all about money. You think they give a damn about some dog fights, NO! Like we both said, no one is justifying what he did, but look at the big picture. Where does he live, IN ATLANTA! When was the last time he was probably at that house? maybe 2 weeks after he bought it.

What do your comments have to do with Diddy’s situation? Who said he wasn’t a good father? Kim is the one that decided to leave it’s not like he left her with all the kids. Granted he may not have been the best boyfriend in the world but how do you know anything about the type of father he is? Just because he’s paying child support doesn’t mean that’s ALL he’s doing. And furthermore as I’ve mentioned in my last post (see #143) if these rich men dont have a problem taking care of their children AND their baby momma’s then what does it matter to you? Paul Mooney said it best, Americans are so fake. Does the court system fail the poor, the rich, both, or all. That’s the first time you’ve referred to the court system at all without letting your hatred for this man blind your opinion. You seem to be the one that’s blinded by celebrity. People kill me with that, “it’s a class thing, not a color thing” nonsense. I don’t care about celebrities, give me the statistics on the 99% of people that are average and then the truth will come out. No one is proving anything by saying that O.J. and Michael Jackson got off, so it’s a money thing not a race thing. The powers that be put certain blacks in an influential position to mesmerize people like you sis and get you caught up in that “rat race” mentality of “if I get this money I’ll be accepted”.
No I don’t have any thoughts on his innocence or guilt because his life may not matter to you but the lives of my people matter to me. If he’s guilty then he should be punished according to the laws of the land. Do you know that a white man told me and my brothers that of the last 1000 men to be released from prison due to DNA evidence, 98.6% were black. Now this was back in 2005 and I’m not sure what pool he drew this statistic from but it still speaks volumes on the lack of credibility of the media, court, and prison systems. Every other day when I read the newspaper, another black man is being freed from prison after having 10,15,20 years wasted away in prison due to a DNA exoneration.
@175
Michael Jordan had mistressES of all different races sis. It’s not just about him getting a white girl. The sanctity of marriage was never really valued since the inception of this country. It’s been ripped to shreds for purposes of population control. Marriage has been romanticized in this country to the point that people don’t even respect the order aspects of marriage. That’s why the elders could stay married for 50 and 60 years. They respected the order.

You’re right Judah, is was not necessarily about his having a white mistress, any unfaithfulness is a problem, but it is suggested that he really loved this one particular mistress and but for his trying to maintain a certain image, he would have preferred to marry her - Whether this country has romanticized marriage to the point of disrespect or not is no excuse for individual understanding and commitment.
The elders and couples that stay married did so and do so, because they worked on staying together. Society might bear some influence, but grown folk need to be accountable for their individual choices and behavior.

CMEEZ, to provide you with a response, if you noticed, I said SOME of the posts. The post I made was commenting on the folks saying, “She deserves to get paid” “She deserves this and that” The ONLY thing she deserves is to have her children’s father be financially viable as well as being there emotionally, mentally, and physically for his children. The overall issue is not Ms. Porter and Mr. Combs it’s about some people’s mindset about child support. Let me guess you’re one of those folks who thinks money is the only thing needed to raise a child right? Again, I never said he wasn’t a good father. What I did say is he wasn’t taking care of them, i.e. not being there with the kids physically, emotionally, etc.
Another person in this forum said it best, no amount of money will ever take the place of a two parent household. To make it personal, my father was a “financial father”, my mother didn’t keep my sister and myself from him, his decision was based upon, well I pay for them so that’s all I need to do. Unfortunately this is what some men and women think when it comes to taking care of their childen.
In response to your statement, “Just because he’s paying child support doesn’t mean that’s ALL he’s doing. And furthermore as I’ve mentioned in my last post (see #143) if these rich men dont have a problem taking care of their children AND their baby momma’s then what does it matter to you?” I actually find this funny thanks for the laugh. I’m just wondering have you ever seen Mr. Combs out and about with his kids except when its a publicity stunt…i.e. Essence Magazine, the video he released regarding the forthcoming pregancy? I’m just calling at it’s presented to me.
To remind you, this is an open forum for people to give their opinions on a given topic. We all are entitled to our opinion just as you are entitled to yours. However maybe you should ask yourself the same question, “What does it matter to you?” I see you are posting right long with the rest of us. I guess it matters to you as well.
Oh here’s another statement that’s funny, “With that said, if YOU would happen to get knocked up by a very wealthy man and things HAPPEN to not work out and he was ordered to pay child support…I dont believe you would be at courthouse asking to recieve less money.” First and foremost, I woudn’t simply get “knocked up”. I am not having any children without the marriage FIRST! So many people put the cart before the horse. Again if that’s what SOME people CHOOSE to do that is their right. It’s not my choice. To reiterate, my father was just a financial father and I know what its like not to have a father around because he thinks child support is all that is needed; so no I wouldn’t be seeking a bunch of money just because I can. I would much rather have my FORMER HUSBAND have as much quality time with my child as I do. It’s more important for me to have well-rounded child with BOTH parents playing an ACTIVE role in his/her life, not just being active in a bank account.
Allbeit the reason why some of these women are awarded so much money is because of the income level of their child’s father. Since YOU want to keep it funky, the average mother/father does not receive all of this money that some of these women are receiving. Let’s talk real talk and real people…outside of the celebrity spotlight. Trust me the custodial parent needs the financial support to help with the needs of the child however financial support does not equal overrall support and overall well-being for the child.
Im just curious, who did you grow up with? How’s your relationship with your father? I can’t be upset at your naivety to the issue of fathers/mothers and child support so you can inform yourself a little more check out this website: http://www.nfi.org

Judah, half of what you said was well-worded, red herring garbage not worth responding to and you know it.
I’m not going to enter into another race/sexual/religious debate with you. We’ve done this dance to many times to count. It’s pointless, and naturally slanted in your favor when you can write up four paragraphs based on conjecture, you OWN twisting of the facts, and no real proof. You can’t argue with a man who always has “Well, that’s the WHITE MAN’S facts!” to fall back on like a coward (yes, coward). A true discussion of race issues in the United States could NEVER be had with you, because you’re never willing to listen. You already know it all, and all the overwhelming evidence against you is just false implants by the white man to throw people off the real truth—a truth, I might add, that only you ever seem to be privy to despite the fact that you live in this country and must be doing SOMETHING to be able to sit in front of a computer screen and type novella-length posts…you know, like the rest of us peons. You know, the mark of a true conspiracy theorist lies in how they respond to opposition, whether they can back up their ideas with sound, provocative evidence or if they instead hide behind a wall of “Well, that was PLANTED there by the WHITE MAN. This is a conspiracy going back hundreds of years!” Judah, the truth is you have nothing edifying at all to say on this subject, and this is just an attempt on your part to steer the topic to the subjects you know the most about. Or, should I say, can type the most about.
Again, this is not a race issue. And no I’m not comparing Michael Vick to Chris Benoit, merely refuting your bogus “point” on the portrayal of black people in the media. I used Benoit because the story was current. I could just as easily use another story—Paris Hilton going to jail for violating her probation, for example. If you followed any major news source, you’d think that’s ALL that happened those agonizingly long three weeks. You’ve done nothing to bust my point that the media in this country is the closest thing we have to racial neutrality, their vulture-like mentality will draw them to ANYTHING that’ll make a public splash (then again, NONE of this is really the point).
And oh yeah yeah yeah, more “white people are the devil they imperialize and spread conflict all over the world rape women children and babies and killed my pet dog fluffy when I was a kid!” We’ve done this before. I get it, we get it. The only person here who doesn’t get it is you. You would honestly try to have everyone here believe that every non-white race was honest and good until the white man came and corrupted us all. ALL men are capable of evil, and ALL have committed it at some point in time. The Koreans hate the Japanese; China hates the Koreans AND the Japanese; Korea hates ITSELF; India and Pakistan are in the middle of a mini arms race and everyone’s a tiny bit afraid that Russia’s ready for a round two of the Cold War; Mexico and Honduras aren’t getting along, Africa is in turmoil from WITHIN right now and, damnit, every Islamic nation with the exception of Turkey probably wouldn’t mind if we woke up tomorrow and Israel was just a big crater surrounding the holy city. Not to mention pretty much EVERYONE hates the Kurds. You can list every conflict that had to do with the white man all you want and try to claim it means something that it doesn’t. But, Judah, what you fail to realize (or what you just don’t want other people to realize), is that the history of the PLANET is rife with conflict, and a white man in a business suit and greedy intentions is not always the one behind it. Then again, I just KNOW you’re about to spend a few hours concocting a way of trying to convince me of otherwise without providing a single fact. Here we go…
So let’s take it back to the actual subject here, you know—the one that has to do with several men accused of hosting and supporting a massive illegal dog fighting ring? The subject you have so eloquently avoided up to this point. You know what? Let’s not. I’ve said what I had to say on that and until you actually, you know, RESPOND to it there’s not much more for us to exchange.
(P.S. The fact that you stooped to making an “ur-anus” joke pretty much strips you of your right to call anyone out on how they respond to people and the language they use. I mean, really…)
(P.P.S. Woooow, you have some nerve to claim that most black people are 2-dimensional thinkers and sheep…right before you tried to pass off a statistic you heard from some random white man about DNA exonerations and try to use it to challenge the credibility of media and government.. Of the last 1000 people freed? Fool, there haven’t even been 500 people freed yet. And the stats of the racial make-up of that list isn’t accurate, either. A quick Google search could have told you that much…then again, you HAVE always had a problem with fact checking. And I’M the one accused of taking a white man’s word as law? Damn, some white guy tells you this and you don’t even bother with doing the research…)

What in my post led you to believe that money is the only thing I thought necessary to raise a child? I never said anything like that. That was a huge baseless assumption. Your bad. And last time I checked, “not being there with the kids physically, emotionally, etc.” does not equal being a good father. So you may want to re-check your own logic on that one. And again how do YOU know what type of father he is? Do you live next door? Are you the nanny for the twins? I’m so confused. There are lots of celebrities that aren’t seen with their children. That doesn’t mean they are not good parents. Perhaps they choose to keep their children out of the spotlight.
“To remind you, this is an open forum for people to give their opinions on a given topic. We all are entitled to our opinion just as you are entitled to yours. However maybe you should ask yourself the same question, “What does it matter to you?” I see you are posting right long with the rest of us. I guess it matters to you as well.”
You are stating the obvious and still missing the point. Of course we are all here stating our opinion. My issue us when people get super adamant about a situation that they really don’t know about. You are on the blog making statements about their situation and presenting them like it’s the gospel. When people do that it just comes off as hate, IMO.
“Oh here’s another statement that’s funny, “With that said, if YOU would happen to get knocked up by a very wealthy man and things HAPPEN to not work out and he was ordered to pay child support…I don’t believe you would be at courthouse asking to receive less money.” First and foremost, I wouldn’t simply get “knocked up”. I am not having any children without the marriage FIRST! So many people put the cart before the horse. Again if that’s what SOME people CHOOSE to do that is their right. It’s not my choice.”
The only thing that’s funny is the fact that my lingo apparently scrambled your brain a bit. For the record “knocked up” means getting pregnant. And you can achieve this with a jump-off, your fiancé, or your husband. The only thing that marriage will POSSIBLY guarantee you is an alimony check to go along with the child support. So yes it’s very funny that you think that you could be exempt from this situation because you would be married.
“Allbeit the reason why some of these women are awarded so much money is because of the income level of their child’s father. Since YOU want to keep it funky, the average mother/father does not receive all of this money that some of these women are receiving. Let’s talk real talk and real people…outside of the celebrity spotlight. Trust me the custodial parent needs the financial support to help with the needs of the child however financial support does not equal overrall support and overall well-being for the child.”
Again you are preaching to the choir. I mean what breathing creature with half a brain doesn’t know that Kim would receive more child support than your average single parent? The post was about Kim and Diddy, and that’s why I asked you what your comments had to do with them because it just seemed irrelevant. .I just feel like you are judging someone else based on your own personal experience and you can’t do that. For one, as I’ve stated before you DON’T KNOW Diddy and Kim’s situation. And #2 you are talking about people who live a completely different lifestyle than you and I. You are truly the naïve one if you think that little punk $100K per month is putting a dent in his pockets.
“I can’t be upset at your naivety to the issue of fathers/mothers and child support so you can inform yourself a little more check out this website: http://www.nfi.org
(National Fatherhood Initiative) Check it and let me know what you think.”
No offense but you can miss me with the website information. (But since we are keeping it funky, I did click on it just for the hell of it and led me to a site about seafood—you may want to check on that) I don’t need to educate myself on things that I witness day in and day out. I see single parents where the parents aren’t together but they are still equally involved both physically and financially. I see “financial” fathers. And I see situations where the father is there for the child physically but is either unable or unwilling to provide financially. And that is not fair to the mother or the child. And of course you have the situations where the man is just absent period. Therefore, you seem to be seeing things only from your standpoint as a child who did not have a father physically in her life. And I get that. But please believe there is another side to that. It’s the side of a single mother having to do EVERYTHING by herself and it’s not fun. So though your father wasn’t there, your mother was receiving some type of help. And believe me that’s more than some people get. And I mean this in the kindest way: if your father was the type of man that would walk away from his own flesh and blood then you were probably better off without his influence in your life.
My point is that I feel that people are unfairly judging Kim for getting the amount of chid support she gets or is entitled to by the law. What, because she happened to have kids by a wealthy man she should be penalized? That makes no sense to me and it sounds like a bunch of hate. And my main point (as stated before) is if he doesn’t have a problem with it, then why should you? I know regular men who are not with their children’s mother but they WILLINGLY pay child support AND take care of the mothers, just because these are the mothers of their children and they want to make sure that they don’t have to struggle or want for anything. Now what is wrong with that? And again, what’s it to you?

@196
You could’ve shortened that shit by about two paragraphs, straight up. Lol. You have alot of pent up anger and frustration. The real fact of the matter is that what I believe is not based on skewed facts or conspiracy. It’s based on the Word of the Lord which frustrates you because you can’t twist that. The only pertinent thing you’ve said is that we’ve had this conversation before. I can tell that you were on the debate team or something because you’re constantly talking about “getting people to believe” or “who agrees with who more”, lol. That’s a weakness of character to be concerned with who agrees with you and that being a barometer for correctness. That’s how I know that you’re not really someone who stands for anything substantial, because you’re fixated on the court of public opinion. Most of the people disagreed with Christ and the men of the scriptures. I’m not a politician. It’s a spiritual debate that we’re having, not a literal one. You subscribe to the tenets of Satan, which is that spirit of confusion. You know that but don’t want to admit it. Your motivation is to build up this land, I’m waiting for Christ to tear it down. So thusly, there’s no way that we can really constructively converse or agree.
If I’m a coward, then you must define cowardice. If a coward is someone who wants to build his people up instead of “all people” then I’m that. I’m not really concerned about the feelings of others when those others are not concerned about me and mine. Blacks, especially heterosexual black men, are the only people on earth who are expected to not seek righteous judgement. This is why whites consistently confound black people, because it’s common knowledge that the black mind has been trained (like a dog) not to bite the hand that feeds it. You must understand, I don’t hate anyone like the average person hates, which is emotionally. It’s according to knowledge. A wise man doesn’t hate a cobra, but he knows that if he deals with a cobra he will be poisoned.
In regards to the issue with the white man and you trying to compare wars or conflicts between countries and races with what the caucasian has done (by his own admission) worldwide, only highlights my previous point about your infatuation with this man. Next you’ll say the Crips and Bloods are equivalent to the Age of Imperialism and Manifest Destiny. Knock yourself out. Whatever empire was in power was wicked because they ruled in accordance to Satan, whether it was Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Greece, or Rome. It has nothing to do with color. See I speak with such confidence because of the prophecies of the Bible. You arguing with me is like you trying to tell me what ’s going to happen in a movie that you’ve never seen but I’ve read the script. At the end of the day, it’s not that big a deal. We’ll see who’s right and who’s wrong. That’s why Christ said that there’ll be a “wailing and gnashing of teeth” because the dreams and motivations of the people that love this world will be destroyed.
How have I avoided the subject at hand? I said that the brothers deserve their day in court, and if found guilty, they should be penalized according to the laws of the land. What would you like me to say, “Hang em high!”. Would you like them castrated because their all not homosexuals? Negro please.
All that shit that you wrote, and the only real point you made was about the DNA evidence (allegedly), everything else was conjecture and vain opinion, lol. I meant to type 100, unfortunately I make typos. Either way I don’t stress most of these statistics. That’s why I said in my original post that I don’t know what pool they drew that statistic from that that man recited. I go by what the Spirit of the Lord shows me. For example a common stat that’s propagated is that there are more black men in prison than in college. A man doing research for a book on Black Male Myths brought out that the pool used for that statistc was adulterated. The “researchers” graded how many black men were in college, aged 18-24 against black men in prison age 18-57, lol. The scripture tells you that one of the curses on our people would be wrongful imprisonment (Psa 79:10,11, Isa 42:22). So I go with stats that back up the the scripture. I know you don’t understand that, lol.

I’m very sleepy right now. Today, I think I’ll go over our phone numbers with my son to make sure he knows them in case an emergency comes up. I need to go pick up some toilet tissue too.

If Puffy were learned in the ways of the old school,then he’d know that “It’s Cheaper To Keep Her”.
