Think you’ve never heard this guy’s music before? Well, if you’ve recently blasted Rihanna’s “Umbrella” (which he wrote in 12 minutes) or “Breakin’ Dishes” or J. Holiday’s “Bed,” then you’re very familiar with The Dream’s sound. Working closely with teammates Tricky Stewart and Jazze Pha, Dream plays guitar, trumpet and drums and is the husband of R&B singer, Nivea. It’s no wonder that in his spare time, he enjoys painting and sculpting. Drawing his inspiration from Sam Cooke, Al Green and Timbaland, this Rockingham, NC native (now based in Atlanta) has production and writing credits everywhere. Just check the discography.
It’s rumored that his new video for “Shawty Is A 10″ is being shot in the coming weeks. There are definitely high hopes set for this new Def Jam signee. But he’s definitely not new to the game…

WTF? It sounds like R. Kelly scrapped SHAWTY IS A TEEN, and this guy took what was left and ran with it. I’m sorry, but that was strait horrid.
The moment that Brian mentioned Umbrella, I practically stopped writing. I can see why Umbrella took 12 minutes to right, because all she does is say Umbrella-ella-ella-eh-eh from start to finish.

Yeah there is evidence. My homegirl said she seen a Youtube clip of her recording in his sweater and them in the studio flirting! But they took the video off, Ima keep checking back, bc someone gots to put it back up! But the duet he wrote clearly talks about them living a lie, and having to hide their relationship and not put his name on her gifts and hurting inside bc they are living apart and not wanting to hide thier feelings! And everyone knows that Dream is like a rapper and doesnt, write anything down, like a freestyle. He jumps in the booth and just talks about what is going on in his life! This is the real deal!!!!
