All the Harry Potter fans are probably curled up right now reading the final Harry Potter installment. I pre-ordered mines earlier this year and haven’t started reading it yet – but I will. Yeah I’m a HP fan AND WHAT?! I know I’m not the only one. On to the round up!!!

Tear. I guess there will be no album coming from The Fugees anytime soon. In an interview with Billboard.com, Pras expressed frustration about the status of the long-awaited Fugees reunion, which seemed on track as of last fall.
“We went in the studio and recorded a couple records that were incredible. But, to put it nicely, it’s dead,” says Pras. “Me and Clef, we on the same page, but Lauryn [Hill] is in her zone, and I’m fed up with that sh*t. Here she is, blessed with a gift, with the opportunity to rock and give and she’s running on some b*llshit? I’m a fan of Lauryn’s but I can’t respect that.”

RIHANNA WANTS TO BE THE BLACK MADONNA
Rihanna recently told Paper Magazine that she wants to be the black Madonna:
“The other stuff I did was easy breezy–a lot of [it] I felt was stuff that any artist could have done. This one only a certain artist can do. . . . I want to be the black Madonna.”
I guess she can probably pull it off if she manages to change her style on each album. I’m not going to lie I am becoming a Rihanna fan, sure she can’t sing too good but there is something about that chick. Most people are starting to get sick of her but I’m sure a lot of people said that about Madonna too.
BTW, I love Harry Potter! Harry is adorable. Even though it’s kinda obvious that Ron and Hermoine(my bad if I butchered her name) are the ones feeling each other, I still have a feeling that Harry and Hermoine will hook up(they are too cute together!). LOL, I’m a huge HP fan as well, but I decided to wait until this one hit the shelves- my obsession was becoming a little overbearing. I had to go cold-turkey on myslef! lol!
Kanye is going to shut 50′s ass up. Ri Ri is just so overrated. I agree with these singers who get by on their looks instead of talent. It’s a damn shame. Sistas like Fantasia , Keyshia Cole, Lil Mo, and whoever else has to sit back to untalented people like this. Except Fantasia is starting to get hers now with her sexy self.

50 started his reign when he sold 12 million his first time out and 8 million his second time out. Who has done that since 2003 in hip hop?…That’s what I thought. Kanye annoys me. If he crashes someone else’s awards show to whine about how much he spent on a video, somebody should jack his tail up. 50 has a right to be arrogant. Kanye doesn’t. 50 could sell 2 times less than his last album and it will still be 2 times more than anyone else in rap can sell.

Young folks today have little to listen to; Rihanna has some good songs, but it’s a bit premature to call her the next anything. I bought “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” off the strength of “In The Club” and “P.I.M.P.”, but, when somebody stole it from me, I didn’t run out and replace it. I’ve replaced at least THREE Parliament-Funkadelic albums, and when my Earth, Wind and Fire CD’s start skippin’, I’ll replace them too. Music today is so disposable, and it’ll remain that way until you (the young kids that buy music) start demanding better quality…PEACE.

To be honest before this album came out I wasn’t the biggest Rihanna fan. I mean alot of my friends were and some people arould my way was feelin her but I didn’t care too much for her. Then for some odd reason when this album came out she started to grow on me. I hated Umbrella. I thought it was a very stupid subject. However, they played that thing on the radio so many times it became one of those songs that you couldn’t get out of your head. Then I picked up the album and now I know every damn song on that album.lol. So, how about that. If you would have asked me a year ago if I liked Rihanna I would have given you 10.000 reasons on why I didn’t like her. She’s not the best singer but something about her this time arould has really changed. Maybe it’s the songs, maybe it’s the look or maybe it’s the way she carries herself. Whatever it is…I know now that I am a huge fan of this album and Rihanna.
As far as the Fugee album goes. I knew that wasn’t going to happen because Wyclef said that nothing was going to be certain until Laruyn was finshed with her album and that girl has release what? One new song in the past 5 or so years. So, I knew that wasn’t happen. Maybe it will later down the road but as of right now…I can’t seeing it happening now.
I LOVE Ree-ree! I really don’t understand why it’s been said that she can’t sing too good. She can sing just as good if not better than most other female R&B/Pop chicks out there. Her album is tight. Ok. Let’s be real. If you listen to Rihanna’s album, she clearly has a European target market, and by European, I mean WHITE. This girl is from Barbados, yet I am not hearing that come through the music. She will never be the Black Madonna. Period! Madonna is a true artist. Rihanna is a puppet. Face it, Shawn Carter is nobody’s fool. Additionally, we all know which “race” by enlarge purchases albums. A true artist does not need to go from a Caribbean girl in their first album, to a rocker chick in their third.
