#67, yeah I hear ya. I’ve heard that the divorce rates are high in that range too. It’s like they don’t have to be together anymore since the kids are grown and have their own lives. I even know of older couples who don’t divorce but live separate lives…I’m trying to stay positive though, because the big D is an easy way out. Just with people my own age, it seems like they get married and get divorce all in the same year. And going through a divorce is not like a break up, totally different when you have to involve lawyers.

it’s funny to me how kobe has become the typical nba husband, he reminds of the father from love and basketball, cheating on the side and then expecting his wife to put up with it. i expected more from kobe, i wasn’t thrilled that he married vanessa but that was his choice he loved her at the time and if you claim you love someone why would you hurt them like that. vanessa only comes off like that b/c she’s hurting and embarrassed at what her life has probably become. i don’t think she was/is a gold digger, she’s enjoying the trappings of being married to superstar multi-millionaire athlete, unfortunately it doesn’t look like all that money and fame is making them happy. they look like they’re just playing a role, you can obviously tell they’re not happy. i hope they work things out because they have children and for some reason i know kobe knows better than that, they may already be trying to resolve things, God Bless them.
