Solange Knowles performed a preview of her upcoming album last night as part of the “R&B Live” Concert Series. Her family came out to Spotlight showing support, as well as other young stars and randoms.
Solange’s is currently fine tuning the new album titled “Solange & The Hadley Street Dreams”. She also recently signed a worldwide co-publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing after being recognized for her lyrical work on songs for Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Trin-I-Tee 5:7, and sister Beyoncé.

I kinda like her dress. I will be glad when the CD finally drops cause i’m interested to see what she can do as a solo artist. Her first CD was ok. It was kind of bubblegum but she much younger then. I just hope she has something original to offer.

solange has a beautiful voice…whoever says she cant sing does not have a musical ear…….she’s her little sister’s muse and has learned a lot from bey vocally as well as infused her own inspirations….im not a fan of the girl necessarilty but technically,….she’s a better singer than most r and b chicks out now other than her sister…i hope the world will not be judgemental and take her for what she brings
