HEr voice was a little hard to get into when i first heard this song..it didnt really sound like her but now that i’ve listened to it its a beautiful song and the lyrics WOW those lyrics are amazing!

I LOVE this song but she sounds like she’s hoarse or something. It’s like she has vocal damage and she’s tryin to sing through it. She is also flat most of the time and it kills me that the music industry lets songs out there like that. I DO love the song though, but not her voice in this one….something happened…..something bad.
I can’t claim to be a big Alicia Keys fan, but I must say that she sounded good in her first album. I think her new song, “No One”, is not in the right key for her. First off, as many have already mentioned before, it’s a bit too high for her voice, which made her sound like she’s struggling to hit those high notes. Second, because of that struggle for high pitches, her sound production sounded very nasal, like she had a cold or something. From what I’ve seen in the past, a lot of singers try to compensate for being able to hit high pitches (if they’re not used to them) by producing a more nasal sound because to many it’s more comfortable to hit those high notes that way. I think the song is great, except that it’s written too high for her. They should have considered transposing it to a lower range. (I’m surprised they didn’t.) Overall, I think Alicia Keys is a good singer, but not in this song.
Big up! to TANISHA SCOTT she brought the best out in Alicia Keys. Alicia has so much swagger now that Tanisha is doing her Choregraphy. Lori-ann can get the boot she can’t move. The proof is in the pudding for Lori-ann just watch “Honey” her moves SUCKED! maybe age is catching up with her or Osteoporosis.
Tanisha created such a light for Alicia Key, I have to be one of Alicia Key’s biggest fans and I can honestly said Alicia couldn’t dance eeewwwww… NOW she has attitude with all her steps and such a glow when she moves. I was at the concert and I think it was amazing to see Alicia Key on stage dancing, singing and play the piano….. She is so blessed and Tanisha Scott is crazy talented and blessed!
