Omarion & Bow Wow – Designated Driver
There’s a rumor going around that Bow Wow and Omarion are to release an album together a la Jay-Z/R. Kelly-style, titled Face Off. While I don’t think it’s a bad idea, considering that Omarion could barely give away copies of his latest album, 21, I’m not sure if this song is really a good representation of what these two can do together. Although they’ve made pretty good transitions from child-stars to reputable artists, I don’t think that “Designated Driver” is a good way to promote their project together. It just sounds like something we’ve all heard before. I hope that their other material is a better representation of what the two of them can do, because this album could do well, considering their fan base.
OMG! what the hell is wrong with people? y would u think that this song is for the “kiddies”? does the subject matter of this song sound like anything a child needs to be listening to?? HELL NO! and if u think it’s alright….i see a problem. The boys are tying to grow up and make their transformation to adulthood….and the song is WAAAAY better than half of the stuff thats on the radio. for bow and omarion…UPGRADE!

The song is coo’, it’s not slated to be a single but if it was it would do good. Everyone on here that has said something negative about Bow Wow knows all the words to ‘shorty like mine’ and ‘outta my system’ and I wouldn’t be surprised if they knew all the words to ‘Designated Driver’….because point blank, no one can deny good music no matter who it comes from.

Maybe they both should consider becoming backup dancers. Their whole fanbase consist of little girls anyways, especially with chris brown in the mix these two arent getting much attention. This song is nice. I think that the album will be good. They just need some type of publicity. The concert will be right if they publicize it right. They need to do a lot of radio interviews with like Frank Ski, Ryan Cameron and 105. If Atlanta can get behind them this record will be good.
