In a recent interview with Shock Jock Wendy Williams, Irv Gotti spoke on his “relationship” with Ashanti and about her disloyalty towards him when he was on trial for allegedly laundering drug money.

Irv admitted his disappointment in Ashanti for her lack of loyalty during difficult times instead of sticking by him like Ja Rule did though out the trial. Irv Gotti, who is 10 years older than Ashanti, also admitted his use of the drug Viagra mixed with the drug Ecstasy during the time he was having an affair with Ashanti while he was married AND that Ashanti knew he was married!
He also confirmed Ashanti is still under contract with him so he legally has rights to anything Ashanti does until her contract with Gotti expires. [SOURCE]

I think most pll on this site didn’t even listen to the interview Irv Gotti never say he slept with Ashanti and she is still sign with the murdaINCrecords. I think Irv was high when he did that interview for saying Ashanti was not loyal to him. Ashanti was on all his trails!

What is wrong with this world? Irv Gotti goes up on national TV, producing a show that glorifies his absolute disregard for his family, openly disrespects his wife by talking about how he gets with all these different women, saying right into the camera that everthing takes a back seat to getting a hit including his kids. And the public eats it up. Do they or Gotti ever think about what it must be like being Gotti’s kids at school? Imagine if your father went up on national tv and talked about your mother and how he can’t be faithful and that his family takes a backseat to a hit, and everyone at your school knew all your family’s dirty laundry? There is no shame left in this world. The sad thing is that a generation of boys without a father figure in their life are watching and learning from Gotti’s Way how to treat women and what should be most important in their lives: getting money and sleeping with as many women as possible.
Ashanti is in the Murder Inc Camp. No matter if Irv is doing illegal transaction or not Ashanti should show love by showing up to his court for Irv because he is the one who got her in the music business and made her famous with no talent.
I don’t know why everyone is acting like this is some BIG suprise.
I think most of us got the impression that SOMETHING was going on between the two, but we never paid it much mind.
I must admit that while Ashanti is beautiful and seemingly down to earth, she isn’t exactly angelic (think “rescue me” and “only u”), and her vocal skills aren’t exactly “music” to my ears.
I remember a few years back when they found X & Viagra on Irv at the airport which would support the claim that he made about him being under those substances while having an affair with Ashanti.
The sad thing about the whole situation in general is that the hip-hop world is full of this mess: females hooking up with men holding high power just to get to the top.
