Actually, concerning the Ashanti contract issue…Irv is wrong. Via his own interview with Wendy Williams, he just gave Ashanti all the evidence that she needs to file a sexual harrassment lawsuit against him. Ashanti can now claim that she has been forced to work under hostile work place conditions where she was repeatedly pressured, if not threatened, into engage in a sexual relationship with the married Irv Gotti (her boss)…in what amounted to a form of sex slavery.

Now…if she chooses, she can sue him and his companies for hundreds of millions of dollars, and most likely will prevail in court. The point is…Ashanti can use Irv Gotti’s statements to legally dissolve her contract…in addition to collecting millions in damages. And that’s not to mention any slander charges Ashanti might bring. The slander being drawn from the contention, if she chooses to pursue it, that she was pressured into a relationship with Irv Gotti.

Gotti most likely would be forced to settle out of court and let her out of her contract. Therefore, he should tread lightly here, and cease making further damaging statements, about himself and his company. His on the record account, may also form the basis for more women who have worked for, or are presently working for him, to file similar claims. As well, future female employees may also use Gotti’s interview to file claims against him, alleging sexual harrassment–thus making Gotti unable to serve in any capacity as a viable executive…and or, employer…due to the risk of such lawsuits being filed against him!!!

What is wrong with this world? Irv Gotti goes up on national TV, producing a show that glorifies his absolute disregard for his family, openly disrespects his wife by talking about how he gets with all these different women, saying right into the camera that everthing takes a back seat to getting a hit including his kids. And the public eats it up. Do they or Gotti ever think about what it must be like being Gotti’s kids at school? Imagine if your father went up on national tv and talked about your mother and how he can’t be faithful and that his family takes a backseat to a hit, and everyone at your school knew all your family’s dirty laundry? There is no shame left in this world. The sad thing is that a generation of boys without a father figure in their life are watching and learning from Gotti’s Way how to treat women and what should be most important in their lives: getting money and sleeping with as many women as possible.

Ashanti is in the Murder Inc Camp. No matter if Irv is doing illegal transaction or not Ashanti should show love by showing up to his court for Irv because he is the one who got her in the music business and made her famous with no talent.
