Esquire magazine just released its list for the Best Dressed Men in the World for 2007. The list was narrowed down to 23 men who can dress their asses off, according to them.
Our main man Jay-Z got the #2 spot. U.S. senator and presidential candidate, Barack Obama wasn’t far behind with spot #4, Miami Heat basketball player, Dwyane Wade got the #14 spot on the list and Tony Parker (another bball player) rounded it off at #23. Jay knows how to dress, which is good cuz he’s not much to look at in the face department, but after that interview with Angie Martinez posted a few days ago, I see that Beyonce sees something in his personality and wit.

I love the way Jigga dresses both casually and when he’s dressed up. Check out some of his old videos when he wore obvious jewelry and Yankee fitteds. He’s stepped the game up as befits his maturity, but he still can rock a cute casual look. So I fuck with him all day on that. As far as Dwayne Wade, think about the fact that he’s 6’9 or so but still puts together a nice look again, he’s nice when he’s casual and dressy and he’s hella cute. They should have added Kobe to the list though because Kobe does take some fashion risks and looks good.
Tom Brady I’ve seen on the street with model girlfriend of the moment and it’s not that hot. David Beckham should have definitely been ahead of him. George Clooney, too, if we’re going with white guys. Will Smith, c’mon he brings it too.

I like Obama, but usually politicians don’t make these lists. They can’t afford to stray too far from the conservative. I was floored that his wife made the best dressed female list.
