Lil’ Mo feat. Jim Jones – Sumtimes I
After Lil’ Mo gave birth to her baby girl, Goddis Love, we didn’t hear much from her. Her last album, 2003′s Girl Next Door, was a good follow-up to her debut that everyone had been waiting for, after hearing her all over Ja Rule and Missy tracks. The self-proclaimed “God Mother of Hip Hop and Soul” is back with a brand new album, Pain & Paper, which is a blend of hip hop and soul that some say is Mo’s best work to date. She has a features from Fabolous (who always seems to make nice collabs with), Jim Jones, Da Brat and Trina.

Her voice is nice but as usual the songs are garbage . She need some major help with song writing
she need to do a song with jacki-o, they can show off their tattoos in the video
the album is terrible!! she screams through the whole thing! damn I wanted it to be good…. a good voice gone to waste!! damn!
Love You, Mo and welcome back. As you can see your FANS and haters did miss you As for your tats Im a fan of your talent your body is YOUR BUSINESS( You know they had to find something)
I truely wish her the best with this album. She’s very under rated and I don’t understand why. I’m guessing she’s just dealing with the wrong people. I love her single “Sometimes I”….very radio friendly. I just hope people go out and cop her album…she’s good people!
She definitely is underrated…dope song and she reps Bmore to the fullest….I
She is definitely underrated as an artist….dope song and she reps Bmore to the fullest, I luvs me some tats but she has so many that it takes away from how beautiful she is….oh well still luv her
Everybody is complaining that either she’s not being promoted or the album seems low-budget. Stop hating. She obviously got fed up with all of the bullsh*t of working with a major record company and went independent. Respect the woman’s hustle and congratulate her making stuff happen on her own.
I love some Lil’ Mo for some reason, can’t say why I just do. I know she’s buggin’ callin’ herself the GodMother of HipHop & Soul…but everybody has a crack moment at sometime…She always delievers on other peoples joints but on her on cd’s she only brings like 1 or 2 HOT tracks…this one cd, I’m still searching for those tracks…I know its been a minute and she’s been out of the game and there’s alot of pressure on her since she got her own brand and all…so next cd I expect her to hit it out the the park…and that’s what’s up!

I heard Lil’ Mo’s new album and it’s her best album. Ya’ll gotta go get it.
I love Mo, quite frankly she’s one of the best female R& B voices in a long time especially when you look at the folks you have to compare her too… look at Kelly Rowland, she can really sing, yall talk about Mo’s Vocal production, but like at Kel’s album, she’ s not turning units and She’s got a big ass power house label backing her up and the best she think of to do collab’s with is Eve and Tank,,, come on! Mo’s doing her thing own her own label… u gotta tip ur hat for that!
I LOOOVE her album. I’ve heard Keyshia’s as well, but i pick Mo’s over hers.
The lyrics music and singing and nicer. Keyshia’s is too watered down – No grit.
Mo gives grit and then some!
Love ya Mo!!
love lil’ mo. she’s very underrated because both her first two CD’s were fire and still get frequent play on my Zune. I love the new song with Fab and I will be picking up the new album.
