Tina Knowles always looks WICKED, as if she has it out for everyone on the planet. I dont get warm vibes from her like alot of folks, even when she is well intentioned & supposedly on a “positive” basis.
& You are right! DIDDY does have a HOT Fashion line, I can’t wait for his womens line to come out either.
& also true he cant rap or “dance (anymore)” for nothing!! It is so hilarious to see him doing his spins & trying to dance in his performances & videos now, unlike back in the day. (Laurie Ann was correct about him being “corny”–I will give her that). But the man does have an amazing eye for Fashion & Talent, because that Boy Band he just put together on MTB4 are some Talented, “fine” young men!!

Now look at her…it’s in BEYONCE’s genes. “The weight YO-YO”) I dought she is preggers but who knows?–with all the females popping up “Pregnant” in the Industry these days, like it’s the latest Fashion Trend. @ Kmniles – I totally agree. Celebs no longer want to be good at one thing – they want to be good at everything. I think it’s rooted in a fear of becoming irrelevant and/or boring. That’s what happens when your talent and reach is limited.
If this was just about making money, Unbewevable, PiffPuffShitty, et al would have sat their asses down long ago because they have well surpassed the monetary status necessary to secure a financial legacy. As I said, it’s all about staying relevant in the public and impressing other people.
I’d love to see some of these celebs spend as much time and energy supporting causes that effect real change in the world. Nothing’s wrong with making that paper but when it’s all said and done, the world is not a better place because people sport HoD, Sean Jean, Rockawear, Phat Farm … whatever.

#36 most of the time you don’t hear when celebrities donate their time and money to charities which it is unfortunate. It’s more gossip, negative press and rumors. The news and newspaper are filled with negative stories.
If they have other talents why just focus on one. If you could do it all, go for it. Not just celebrities, people in general. I think it is great.

I’m tired of celebs whoring themselves out to the public. I’m all about getting your money, but sometimes the lengths you’ll go to get it is a bit sickening. Most of these celebs just want to add a moniker to their name not because they’re passionate about it, but because it’s the new thing to do.
The real issue I’m having is rooted a bit deeper…they’re targeting our youth with all this garbage! If you work and make your own money, spend it how you like but parents are going broke trying to make their kids look fly in school instead of investing that $150 for shoes rather than tuition. I would for once like to see one of them personally get involved in educating kids, and I’m not talking about doing a commerical or donating to “Save The Music”. Buy books, buy computers, pay someone’s tuition for a semester. Feed someone who’s hungry. Donate to housing organizations. Do something that requires your personal time where you spend out of pocket and can actually see your money helping others, rather than donating to some “charity” that skims off the top. GRASS ROOTS! Black celebs have so much power in entertainment but I still don’t think they are always using it in a fashion that benefits the people that support them.

First, you don’t know how many hustles I got going on so saddown with that BS. lol
I know a good hustle when I see one. But there’s a marked difference between hustling and pimping. You’re obviously not from where I’m from so let me break it down for you from my perspective: A hustler uses what they’ve got and what they know to get where they want or need to be. A pimp has what they need and uses others to obtain more of what they want. Once they get it, they do their best to get more. These folks passed “hustle” status years ago. It’s only a hustle when you’re struggling baby.
Secondly, I never said anything about people only being good at ONE thing. If you read my post carefully, which you obviously didn’t, you would comprehend that I was intimating that these celebs are trying to be good at ALL THINGS. No one wants to be one-dimensional, and no one should be. But it’s obvious to me that when a person has solidified their place in society as being good at something, and they just keep cranking out more useless shit (non-talent related shit like throwing a name on someone else’s clothes), it’s no longer about expanding dimensions. It’s about pimping the public for more $$.
And just FYI, a lot of the singers that are “broke now” aren’t broke because they only sang. They’re broke because they were either bad with money, didn’t read their recording contracts carefully or were just plain stupid.

Most of them go broke because of excess spending and not properly investing (and I’m not talking about ventures, but actually saving money).
