In the midst of all the legal drama going on with Brandy, she is still representing for the hair companies.
A set of brand new photos have surfaced on Ultima, which features Brandy with more hairstyles than she’s probably had throughout her entire career. The Ultima endorsement deal and promotion is said to be worth $2 million dollars for the singer.

I’m proud that brandy is making money doing something she enjoys but I think women of color should take a break from weaves and start wearing their hair natural again, African American women have such beautiful hair but we can never see it because we are destroying it with relaxers , dye’s , and wearing hair textures that don’t suit us. To each his own. I personally think that relaxers and hair extensions are a phase. But it just annoys me when people are labeled as disliking themselves or their hair just because they get perms or wear weave. Some people don’t have a problem with their hair, they’re just going with the era and then you got some people who do not have the funds or the time to care for the natural styles.
In the 70′s the Fro, the 80′s Jerry curl, and the early 90′s dookie braids (with the gold balls on the ends), the now the so –called “natural” look of locks and dreads are popular.
Although God did give us (with a few exceptions) naturally thick and/or kinky hair, he did NOT give us PERFECT AFROS, LONG BEAUTIFUL KINKY /CURLY HAIR, DREADS or LOCKS. You have to go to someone or do something with your hair in order for you to get the look you want. So don’t fool yourself into thinking that that is “NATURAL”. Anything that takes some type of shaping, setting and product(s) or a13 hours to kick off and 6-month transformation is a PROCESS. You may not be putting chemicals in your hair to get it to straighten out, but you do put something in it to get it to “lock” or shine— I’ve heard from different sources that people use Beeswax. Unless the oils in your scalp automatically produces whatever they use to lock or shine your curls, then it is not NATURAL.
Overall people do what makes you happy when it comes to your hair…you’re the one that has to live with it, ignore the haters. But in the process don’t criticize someone else for what you use to do to your own head. My girl Brandy keep doing your thing!

@36, you don’t necessarily get locked up for an accident, even if it resulted in someone’s death. That’s why it’s called an accident. It ain’t like she was high or drunk while driving. The courts take all that into consideration. Giving that family 2 million dollars is not going to bring that woman back. It is a horrible situation for all involved, but I also don’t think Brandy needs to be punished for all celebrities mistakes!
