Some new Keyshia Cole promo shots have finally hit the net. It’s about time too, because I cant wait for her new album.
Keyshia will follow-up up her debut platinum-selling CD The Way It Is with her second album Just Like You on Geffen Records which is scheduled to be released on September 25th.
In the meantime her latest hit “Let It Go” produced by Missy Elliott and featuring Missy and Lil’ Kim has is doing good on the Billboard and Radio & Records R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
As Keyshia puts the finishing touches on her sophomore release, she’s also very busy working on season two of her BET reality show “The Way It Is 2″ which she is executive producing with her manager Manny Halley. She will also make her movie debut in the upcoming MTV film “How She Moves” due to be released in January 2008.

I like Keyshia Cole,she looks really pretty in the photos. I have been around young ladies like her and they all have been accused of having a personality flaw*(myself included) -LOL! I find that if you just gave people a chance and found out something about them other than just what you “think” is their problem-you will discover that there’s a great person,beyond their “attitude”. }To everything there is a season,a time for every purpose under heaven(Ecclesiastes 3:1)*** In other words-she like some many of (us) will evntually find our way!

FOXX how long was that ago?? Exactly WHEN HAS SHE DISPLAYED ATTITUDE RECENTLY. Ya’ll need to calm down.
i sometimes find her voice aggravating in a way i think she is a pretty woman but the hair color is too distracting if she had a different one i know she could make people say WOW. she’s not trying to be someone she’s not and I think in many ways she is becoming a role model. she has LARGE breast and i rarely see her trying to show them off all over the place or anything like that for the most part she gets by on her talent and songwriting skills and i admire her for that.
Okay, they’re playing this “young MJB” and “real” thing for all it’s worth…. If anyone remembers, when she first came out, the image was more of a ghetto street urchin, sorta like a female Kanye West. She wore her hair like Kelis’s and sorta gave off the “rock star” attitude… And, then, with the success of “I shoulda cheated” they realized how to market her. And, then, BOOM, she became the ghetto, real chick. And, now, because they know everyone will always dig MJB, they’re playing up those comparisons… I know Keyshia said she and Mary had a talk, but I don’t think Mary is feeling the “young Mary J” thing… At least she wasn’t at first, I think she saw it as more of a “new Mary J” thing. She was even mad at the Vibe awards when she got the lifetime achievement award. And, she seemed noticeably contrived when they cut to her while Keyshia was performing. I don’t know… I’m all for someone who is real, but that means being sincere and individual. You lose cool points if you just take on someone else’s abandoned identity.
And, I know Mary was mad at Vibe about the cover, but I think she meant a little more than the obvious when she said “I thought you had to be like 60 to get on of these. When you pioneer something they want to rush you out, but that’s okay.”
Anyone who thinks Keyshia Coles is not a better singer than Mary needs to have their head examined. Even Mary knows that she cannot compete with her.
Keyshia is a classic example of what every young girl should aspire too. Attitude and fashion wise.

I really think that keyshia cole is so talented, but I personally believe that even though her new single is pretty good it shouldn’t have been a first single. Maybe a second or third single. I am really anticipating this new album since her first album as so real and honest. Reminds me of a young Mary J Blige telling it how it is.

Keyshia is pretty I like her and BIG ups on her giving props 2 my girl Ciara on 106&Park and saying how she loves Ciara I mean a lot of people does even Beyonce she said I love Ciara cause she’s multi-talented she’s innivating. I bought her 1st album because she is from the Bay (I am to), but when I started to see and read and listen to her in interviews I was not impressed. Her attitude is the reason why I wont be buying her next cd. I know people who have had it hard, as a matter of fact hard is an under statement and still they carry themselves with class. She dosn’t have to speak in “proper english” to come across as a decent woman either.
