Monday, August 20, 2007

barackobamagq.jpgbarackobamagq2.jpg

Senator Barack Obama covers the September issue of GQ magazine. He is the first politician to appear on the cover since 1992’s issue with former president Bill Clinton and VP Al Gore.

Take a minute to read the article that is now available on GQ’s offical site, Men’s style or pick up a issue when it hits stands on Tuesday.

BLACK FOLKS, don’t be deceived because Barack Obama is black, charming and SOUNDS GOOD. When you look at all of the Democratic candidates, you will see they basically all have the same ideals. What Obama wants is really no different than what Clinton, Biden, Kucinich, etc., want. The last reason you should vote for him is due to the fact he is black. Don’t forget, Clarence Thomas is black as well.

I will be voting for Hillary. There is a reason she is ahead in most of the polls. And a interesting thing to note is, the more Barack Obama speaks, the more his inexperience shows it’s face. That is why after every debate Clinton seems to edge up in the poll numbers because she knows how to handle herself.

I actually like Barack and think he would be a great President, but now is not the time. Our country is in too much trouble right now to have to deal with YET ANOTHER inexperienced President (like Bush). Our current President was just as confident as Barack is but once he got into office, his inexperience along with a few other things, got us where we are today. A inexperienced President is the last thing we need right now no matter how confident he appears to be.

Hillary (with Bill Clinton in her ear), will be getting my vote at this point.

Black folks please register to vote, and vote. It is so simple to do and it can make such a difference whether we think it will or not.

@24

I don’t think that the democrats have the same ideals. I think that they have the same story and they’re sticking to it, lol. I do agree with you though that this man, Obama is getting more and more exposed as his “campaign” goes along. I don’t know how many black people (who think he is going to make a “change”) are aware of this, but the man got seriously confounded a few weeks back when he tried to play “Mr. Peace on Earth”. After he said that he would pull the troops out of Iraq and the media subsequently accused him of being weak, he tried to compensate by saying that he would use nukes in the war on “Terror” and he would invade Pakistan, lol. My point being that if anyone thinks that this dude is going to change the agenda of the people that are really in power, you better think again.

One thing I’ve never understood though is black people’s infatuation with Bill Clinton. What did this man do during his tenure to deserve the adoration of black people. As far as I remember, negroes had the same issues during his presidency that they had during all the other presidencies. I remember him starting and waging wars just like Bush is now, it was just covered differently in the media. I guess to black people he was the “first black president” because he sexed up and sexually harassed multiple chics in and out of the White House besides being an admitted weedhead. Maybe it was his lying, extorting, negro sidekick Vernon Jordan. That doesn’t say much for black people’s self image. That man Clinton has as much, if not more, dirt than Bush.

1. Blacks WILL turn out to vote. They did in 2000 and 2004.

2. Barack will NOT win, even though I’d really like him to. The Dem Machine is trying to annoint Hillary.

3. NO substantive change is going to come from any of the ‘front runners’ because the true Power Elite behind the scene will not allow it. So vote, hope for the best, but expect little from the political ’system’.

4. Black folks need to get over their love affair with Bill Clinton. Its unwarranted.

Go Barack!!!

Clinton is not going to do anything for OUR community. Barack has accomplish a lot in Illinoise as senator, check your facts… Who says he’s not experienced enough? I guess Hillary is, because she’s married to a man that once was president. I haven’t heard much dirt on Barack, but the precious Clinton’s have some business dealings to rival those of the Bush’s family. We need somebody to come in office in deal with the issues that effect people like us. People that can’t afford healt care, people that are living pay check to pay check. We need someone that is going to invest in the research for alternative fuels. We need someone to put more jobs out there. We need someone to lower the cost of tuition. We need someone to solve the conflict in Dufar, not Iraq! There is a lot of issues that we need to be paying attention to this time around, because it does or someday will affect us all. Get out and vote ya’ll. They love that the young and minorities don’t vote. There’s more of us then them. That means they know we have power. So use it!

Yeah aint that somethin’ sis, lol. Seem like everytime I turn around, this dude is on another magazine cover cheesin’, as if that’s gonna get his ass more votes. You see Hillary is chillin’. I believe she knows that the democratic ticket is in the bag. I honestly believe she is going to be president and she knows it. That, to me, was the point behind that TV show on NBC starring Geena Davis as president, to accustom the American populace to a female president. Her presidency will be utilized to take the homosexual (she’s a known lesbian) and feminist revolutions to the next level.

@ JUDAH

Your post shows that you clearly do not know obama, he never said he was going to use nukes he said that he was’nt going to use nukes on the war against terrorism and thats common sense because the terrorist are not a nation they are just a group of people that hide inside civilians and a nuclear action against them will not be a wise action to take, he never said he was going to invade pakistan he said he was going to attack the terrorist that are hiding in the moutains of north west of pakistan IF the pakistani government fails to act we all know that the pakistani government has absolutely no control over those regions.The biggest threat to america’’s security lie in those mountain of north west pakistan besides national intelligence has shown that alqeada has regrouped and are now as strong as they used to be before september 11 and they are planning to attack us. if we have actionable intelligence will it be wise for us to take them out if the pakistani goverment can’t or will it be better for us to let them come and attach us and kill another 3000 or more americans?, hillary clinton and john edwards said the same thing too, read his speech if you havent instead of spreding lies about him, every african american needs to vote for this man cos he represents your future, am white and am voting for him cos barack obama is the person we need in washington., if not for anything but for his honesty, Hillary clintons supporters all agree that she has some difficulty with honesty and the question is after buch/cheney do we want a leader whose difficulty is honesty? i know we dont so i will repeat it again barack obama is the future of african american’s. so i will urge you to register and vote for him cos he is the future.

JUDAH

@37

It must have been meant for me because #24 didn’t mention anything that you’re referring to. I saved the article duke. The man said, “…it would be a mistake to use nuclear weapons in any situation….regarding civilians.” Then he tried to backtrack when he realized he talked himself into a corner. Which means eventually that if elected president, which he won’t be, he will eventually come on television and claim that “the U.S. military has isolated the ‘terrorists’ in the mountains of Pakistan and that nuclear force is necessary…”. Guranteed. This is what this ridiculous charade in the Middle East is building up to. Now you acknowledged yourself that the alleged “terrorists” (9 times out of 10 most likely freedom fighters trying to stop their women and children from being raped and killed by good ol’ boy caucasian marines from middle America) are living amongst the civilians, so thusly how in the hell can civilian casualties be avoided when the enemy and the civilian are the same entity? For every one of those 3000 Americans that were killed in “9/11″, there have probably been 1000 Iraqis and Afghanis murdered in this “War on Terror” (a.k.a. the quest for oil, poppy seeds, poulation control, and destruction of Islam). Please don’t try to get me to feel sorrow for your 9/11 either because I could care less.

The greatest threat to “American security” is America itself and all the wickedness that your people have sown and you’re starting to reap. America is like a crazy man that has hoarded himself in his house with all the advanced weaponry in the world while an innumerable amount of people are waiting outside to kill him with sticks and stones. You white people are funny as hell too, lmao. You see what’s happening around you, you’re in fear of losing your kingdom, so now you want to cleave onto the negroes in “brotherhood”. Your caucasian endorsement of Obama, and your claim that he’s the “future of African-Americans” is enough proof that this man has no validity as a leader for black people. Many black people can’t even read into what you were saying. You caucasians are so arrogant that you think you can speak for black people. If he was a real leader, you’d have an automatic rifle with a scope pointed at his head from 1000 yards. You’re not going to vote for Obama any damn way so stop lying. You’re going to vote for Giuliani.

Its so funny that everyone is only paying attention to Obama, I’m not against him either. Hillary has also contradicted herself as well. I watch some of the campaign and also watch business report responses. Hillary has been contradicting herself since May and no media uproar. Once Obama did the same thing, all you see in the media is how one phrase made the media go crazy. I’m not going to exclude the republican party, I have to see for myself who is worthy of my vote.

I need to hear what each candidate brings to the table before I make a definate decision, but I have not really heard anything from either, personally I think Gore should run he appeals to some minorities, environmentalists, working class people, and others. It appears like people are basing their decisions off personal similarities than who’s right for the job. I have seen the questions what has clinton done when he was in office, but I saw people buying homes, cars, and some financial stability, now we are paycheck to paycheck. I do personally think that this whole Obama/Clinton “rival” is just a smokescreen for them to come through the back door with a whole another candidate, time will tell.
