Ciara makes her directorial debut after directing a video for new artist Paula Campbell. You may have heard of Paula via Brian’s new music post – this video is for her first single “Ain’t Nobody Stupid”.
This project with Ciara is part of Glamour magazine’s Reel Music Project, in which she directs a video for one out of three female artists (the other two being Tiffany Evans, Samantha Jade). Readers selected their favorite based on singles placed online.

I love Ci Ci. She ain’t the best vocalist in the world. But she is def one of the best enterainers of our times. Many complain and wonder why she got a deal. However one must remember that she is a package. She sings(if u want to call it that lol), acts, dances her ass off, writes and directs.

Paula is very talented. I’m anticipating her new album. She been grinding for a long time. I like some of the songs I’ve heard thus far. She is working that blue dress.
I’m happy for Ciara. Despite the constant hate, she continues to rise. I like her hair color in those pictures, it compliments her skin tone very well.
I also thought she directed Tiffany’s video too. Anywho…. Looking forwards to seeing her “directing” skills.

i’m so proud of this chick. while others pose in california and pull crazy stunts or multiple rereleases or pay to be hot ‘sexy girl’ top 100 list, ciara stays on her grind whether you report it or not and not pressed to be in cross over magazines. they come looking for her because they hear the buzz.

Alright just watched the video. The song reminds me of some 90s Sunshine Anderson or something…it’s nice very cliche but she made the track with her voice. Ima need another song but I can see myself getting into her….I still have to see though.

I haven’t watched the video yet but Paula Campbell is so pretty and can actually sing. Ciara, she’s very boring and fell off. Why are you directing so soon in the game? I think she should focus more on her career and then years later start directing. It’s good that she’s working behind the scenes and directing music videos but that Evolution album didn’t as well as expected.

Ciara album was released in December (I think) and she is still coming out with videos and releasing new songs…Rihanna’s album was just released last month (not sure) but she has already released 4 songs off the album and three viedos….
