Style wise - she reminds me of a more afro-punk version Andre 3000. But, I love originality! She ain’t bitin’ off of anyone musically. The album is addictive to listen to on the real.

Her myspace songs are off the chain too.

Black women artists are more diverse than Black men artists. Add Janae to the diverse list of musicians like Alicia, Mary, Beyonce, India.Arie, Erykah, Jill, Chrisette & Corinne Bailey.

The men are all Jockin’ Jay-Z or R. Kelly.
