Yes! I ‘ve been saying that Ciara has lost too much weight. She was thicker and not as muscular as she is now back when her first album dropped. She say her high metabolism is the reason for the weight loss but I think it’s more than that.

@63, I agree with you. People think celebrities have naturally long hair. Most do not, black white or otherwise. Latin women too, J-Lo. Even Oprah now sports a weave. Like most women of color the over processing and constant stress on our hair causes damage, so they put a weave in it or do a tyra banks and wear glued on wigs.

The best weaver of them all is Kimora Lee Simons, her weave is always on point and maybe its because her hair most resembles they people the hair comes from that is when you can afford the good stuff. For most common sistahs, that shit is not Human Hair, how many people do you see walking around here bald or in Asia. You can get a lot of growth but if you mishandle it, you can say goodbye to all the hair you have :/ I have gotten severe breakage before and am still recovering so I think that’s part of the reason why I do wear my own hair. No glueing (because that ripped out my hair like nobody’s business) no braiding (because the more I put my braids up in a ponytail, the more my hairline disappears :p ), No weaving, (because even though I get awesome growth, I shed like crazy).. But yeah, I think there has to be at least ONE celeb who wears their natural hair from time to time…

I said people think every celebrity came to Hollyweird with hair down their backs, no they did not. Some people, including Beyonce, Oprah, Kimora, and S. Latham have a nice length of gorgeous mame, but THEY WEAR WEAVES, because of the constant changes and daily styling wares on their hair.

You do not have to be black to have damaged hair, and it doesn’t have to be near bald. It can be preventable measures. In some case people want the diversity, however, when all you do it rock a weave and be in hair mags like its yours I have a problem with that. The best article I ever read was from Gabrielle Union, in Essence a few years back, where she admitted to wearing a weave and noted where she got her hair from. And no she is not blad, her natural hair is about shoulder length and quite healthy, but she wears a weave. I liked that she admitted it and she talked about how she wore weaves at different stages and depending on her roles and moods. That is what I AM SAYING—They should show how its a weave and then give the styling tips instead of acting like you grew that out your scalp.

Long short in between if it looks good rock it, but do not be fooled 9 out 10 times its a weave.
