Word has it that Vivica’s B-day Party had a whole bunch of drama going on behind the scenes. She was allegedly getting her drink on even though she wasn’t supposed to, Remy Ma wasn’t invited but she showed up anyway, and a check bounced. Read the full report below:
Vivica A. Fox ‘s glam New York birthday party Tuesday night turned into a thorny mess of allegations yesterday, with her own stylist claiming she was drinking alcohol in violation of a court order.
But the first bump in the evening came when a promised Rolls-Royce Phantom failed to appear at Mr. Chow to take Fox to the party. Her dinner companion, Star Jones, dropped her off instead.
Then there was a red carpet kerfuffle when Bronx rapper Remy Ma arrived uninvited.
“Remy and her management were asked not to attend by the club in advance, due to her pending court case for attempted murder,” says an organizer. But like any good diva, the songbird strutted her curves in a tight dress on the red carpet until “she was turned away at the door by a wall of security.”
The next day, a check for Fox’s $2,500 appearance fee was rejected by her bank because it was drawn on a closed account. [SOURCE]

FANTASIA SAYS BROADWAY IS HARD BUT REWARDING
Fantasia Barrino has become the first American Idol winner to garner huge success on Broadway. Here she is talking about her role as Miss Celie in the play, The Color Purple.
“Miss Celie takes a lot out of me. I’m being told everyday that I’m ugly. … you can’t play the part if you don’t kind of put yourself in her shoes and live her life. So it’s like, I carry that stuff with me. I put myself in her shoes in having (daughter) Zion at such a young age and dropping out of school and being in just bad relationships and disrespected. I just feel like God won’t put too much on me than I can bear. As long as I feel like I’m touching somebody … as long as I’m blessing somebody, I know that I’ll be blessed.” [SOURCE]
JERMAINE DUPRI PENS A BOOK

Jermaine Dupri is adding yet another title to his ongoing list of accomplishments, author. The music mogul is releasing a book soon where he talks about his success and failures in the music business. Here is a snippet from his press release:

The book will also trace Dupri’s event-packed life with photographs of him behind the scenes with celebrities at parties and at award shows.

I love Vivica. I think she is beautiful! I love the fact that she can come out lookinghowever she feels! Cameras nor not. If she just wants to pull her hair back with no makeup – okay, odd looking outfit – oh well, she just does her on a “regular” tip. She has that attitude like, “well this is how I look today, if you want to follow me around with that camera then – marvelous!”

You know, the party that was going on uptown up in the projects and the cousin that wasn’t invited crashed, and there was a big fight out in the courtyard and after it broke up, another fight broke out because your cousin’s boyfriend’s friend’s check bounced and the building management wanted er’body to clear out the community room so you took the party up to 6E and somebody spilled their cherry Kool-Aid and vodka on the mini-stereo system and it shorted out so everybody ended up going to the Club Overflo down on Lenox…………….

I admire Fantasia for her work, and she will make it far bcuz she is not scarred to step out and do different things. This role she took is out of character for her but she is embracing like only she can. Fear stops alot of ppl from being the best they can, the fear of what someone will say or think.
Yeah Viv’s B day was earlier this month, but I feel her because I celebrate the whole month of December when my B-day comes. Remy needs to sit her twisted ass down. What was the point of her tryin to crash the party? How embarrasing. She should really be on house arrest.

I can’t wait to read JD’s book, he’s the only mogul (i.e. Jay-Z, Puff) who seems like a really cool, down to earth guy. I followed his career through the 90s and he’s an amazing producer.
For the same reasons I love Fantasia, she seems like such a warm, nice girl, I wish her much success, her last album was hot!
I feel for Vivica Fox. I feel that she really tried to have a hot event. But she’s Vivica. She hasn’t been hot since Kill Bill. And even then. Now all she does is crappy Direct-to-DVD movies now. She need to work it out!

Everyone knows Tasia is in character on the pic and everyone knows how she looks when she is not in character. I’m sure the reason that pic was posted was because they are talking about her success on broadway. Which the character she plays on broadway is none other than Celie.
I am so happy to see Fantasia doin’ her thing. She has come a long way. She had a dream and made it reality.

Maybe yours is a “troll post”, I don’t know, but where in this post or comments do you see Angel or other people denigrating Fantasia? If there was any misunderstanding, it was how her statement about being called ugly was interpreted, and I believe that’s been cleared up.
For the record, CL has been nothing but supportive of Fantasia and, correct me if I’m wrong, has even interviewed her at some point. I hope you re-read the comments here and are able to gain another perspective.
I love Tasia despite what she been through she has made a name for herself she is beautiful.
