Various sources/blogs are reporting that Mary J. Blige and her husband of 4 years, Kendu Isaacs are expecting their first child together. The rumor stems from an article posted on the MTV Germany website:

Mary hasn’t released any official statements on the matter, but you know we’ll keep you posted.
Mary has long said that “his” child(ren) were enough of a family for her & she doesn’t want any kids of her own. She has said on numerous occassions & in interviews that she feels “complete” just being married to Kendu & does not have any plans of having kids of her own & was happy.
But if this is true, I have long said that Mary was only lying to herself & wont really feel “complete” until she gives birth to a child of her own. So if she is actually pregnant by Kendu I wish her all the BEST of luck!! Congratulations & good for her…She is heading towards 40…it’s about time! (if rumor is true)

I think Ill save my CONGRATS for Mary J Blidges official announcement if this is true. It seems liek she is at a time in her life where she may be ready for that! She has a few years of marriage under her belt, has weathered the drug/alcohol /abusive relationship storm in her previous relationships, so yeah it ma be good for her!
