Thank God we don’t live in the old days when it was looked upon so bad. These days we just have to hear it from the holier than thou people. Brown’s Mother: ‘Marriage Is a Big Mistake’
HOLLYWOOD – Spice Girl Melanie Brown’s recent secret marriage to Stephen Belafonte is a big mistake, according to her mother.
Andrea Brown was shocked to discover her daughter had married film producer Belafonte in June and believes she is suffering from postnatal depression.
Andrea says, “Melanie’s not the sort to be taken in by anyone, but her hormones were all over the place after the baby. Maybe Stephen came along at just the right time and said all the right things.
“I need to speak to her, but she won’t answer my calls because she knows what I’m going to say.”
Last week, it emerged Belafonte has a criminal record for hitting the mother of his child, ex-partner Nicole Contreras.
Belafonte admitted attacking Contreras at her Beverly Hills home in May 2003 but escaped jail with a suspended sentence and probation.

Mel B’s Friend Spills Some Major Beans
We are all well aware that Melanie B. believes Eddie Murphy is the father of her new baby girl, Angel, but did you know that she’s still in love with the jerk? This news comes from Mel’s best friend, Christa Parker, who told Closer magazine that Scary is “desperate to rekindle their romance.”
Christa also gave some insight in to how Melanie and Eddie’s relationship turned sour. The two had a huge fight after Eddie refused to accompany Mel to a doctor’s appointment, and then told her she wasn’t invited to attend a black-tie function with him. Mel packed her things and moved her stuff out of his mansion, where she was spending most of her time, thinking the separation would send Eddie running back to her.
Not so. Soon after, Eddie showed up at the Dreamgirls premiere with new girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, on his arm. Ouch.
But you can’t help who you love, I guess. Christa says, “Mel admitted to me she would always love Eddie. Even after the way he has treated her and snubbed his own daughter, I think Mel would still take him back. Mel was upset that Eddie didn’t get in touch, she obviously still feels something. But she loves her daughter and is determined to make the best of things, with or without Eddie in her life.”
I don’t know about you, but I would hope my best friend wouldn’t be spilling my business around town. Oh yeah, and Christa also told the paper that she and Mel had a fling of their own! Mel’s compadre said that the singer seduced her after a night of drinking, shortly after they met.
This wasn’t the first lesbian relationship for Mel, who had been dating a female film executive in 2004. At the time Mel said “people can call me lesbian, bisexual or heterosexual, but I know who’s in my bed and that’s it – I have huge libido and a great sex life.”
But who cares, right? Mel likes the ladies a bit and Eddie likes the transvestite hookers. To each his own.
Now mel b is married within months after having a baby and its not the baby’s daddy which if she would just have slowed down and waited her husband could have been the daddy. If women would just slow the hell down with having babies from everyone I think kids would turn out better in life

She married her backup dancer when she was pregnant with her first daughter (he’s the father) then she dumped him for Max Beesley (I think that’s how you spell his name) not sure if yall know him but he was in Glitter with Mariah if you saw that, anyway once she cheats on her husband she’s dissing him in the papers (sound familiar) saying he was gay and only wanted her for a money then after her two solo albums flopped she went to LA and was a lesbian and then she’s with Eddie and loving the press and then he dumps her ass too, maybe guys see her as a jump off but i personally think she should chill by herself for a bit but hell naw she’s jumped into another relationship with a woman beater no doubt,

I think Mel B’s babay is soooooo cute, I am still suspect about Stephen though. I agree with whomever said that people should not rush into marriage just because they get pregnant. I personally would not want to be in that situation, but i have had a few friends who jumped the broom too soon, I just wouldn’t do it myself. My life has to be in perfect order before I bring a baby into this world.

A hoe Mel b might be, but what the fuck is Eddie! Not only is he a hoe, but he’s a hoe that goes both ways. And i really don’t believe Mel b was a random hoe of his, i believe they were actually in a relationship because we all know hoe ass eddie, even though married, has been fuckin around on nicole, and as we know it, he’s managed not to get anyone pregnant. No one of his status would make such a slip, especially when he’s been so careful, and coincidently once his relationship is over with nicole, and he’s with Mel b, bingo, bango, Mel get’s pregnant….i don’t believe Angel Iris was a slip, i believe he made promises to Mel b, and then decided to back out. I believe Mel b is bitter because of those promises eddie made to HER, not the baby, even though she may be indeed using this baby as leverage for guilt for Eddie (that’s obviously not working), because no one would be this bitter if two grown people was just having fun, and they made a slip up…i believe Mel is really made that he made promises to marry and have a family with her, then he goes off, for whatever reason, and changes his mind, and takes up with another woman, and propose to the other woman. And yes, i do believe Mel’s a bit bitter, but who wouldn’t be, if someone promised them marriage and a family. It was stupid of her to take his word and get started on the pregnancy first before the marriage, but, hey, that’s the breaks….not something i would have done, but yet, she did, and it backfired on her. By the way, while everyone is so hard on Mel, women do this same shit everyday, to the point where kids with two parents in school is abnormal, and kids born out of wedlock is normal…if i were a kid in school today, i’d be scared to tell people that i have two parents, they might look at me like i was weird.
