Word is Mel B’s husband is a straight up fraud. Entertainment columnist Janet Charlton has the scoop for you.
According to Charlton, the couple’s marriage certificate contains the name Stephen Belafonte, but his real last name is reportedly Stansbury. In the past he has tried to pass himself off as Dionne Warwick’s nephew and Harry Belafonte’s son, Charlton writes.
He has criminal records in New Jersey, San Diego and Los Angeles, according to the column. The L.A. infractions include assault with a deadly weapon in Beverly Hills and vandalism and assault on a roommate in Hollywood.
Charlton also suggests that there is more than one assault and battery charge against Belafonte than the one involving Nicole Contreras, the mother of his 3-year-old daughter, Giselle. [ READ MORE ]

Amy was in tears after the row during a showdown with their families over their heroin and cocaine addiction. A source close to the family told the Mirror: “It broke Amy’s heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting. “That was the point when she realised all the drink and drugs were causing huge problems for everybody.”

Umm Angel La..that’s kinda old news about Mel B’s husband, that was reported on most blogs and rags when they announced they were married. She addressed the rumours and stuff in an OK magazine interview.
