Lil’ Mo is on remixes now, that means there really is an album coming out! No, I’m joking – Fab and Mo have always worked together. I can’t see one without the other. “Make Me Better” is already a huge song, and I think that this remix is a really good look. Even though I am deathly tired of the sample, I think that they made good use of it, and made it their own. Folks will eat this up. Who can resist a Fabolous and Lil’ Mo collaboration?

If you know me, you know I pretty much fall in love with everything that Cee-Lo touches. Not so much a Nas fan, but I am digging the production on this. “Less Than An Hour” is taken from the Rush Hour 3 soundtrack. I didn’t really pay too much attention to Nas on the track, but good Lord, Cee-Lo rides music so well. I can’t get enough of his voice. Although some people would disagree, Cee-Lo sings his tail off – and he has so much control over what he does with his voice.

At first, I thought I was going to enjoy the sample that Jennifer used, but I ended up just not liking it. I’m glad that she’s doing up-tempo songs, because Jenny singing ballads is definitely nothing that I’d want to sit through. I think that with the right video (which means J. Lo dancing her butt off the entire time), however, if chosen as the single, this song might do really well on radio. It’s the summer time… people wanna have a good time and dance.

I hope this isn’t from Trey Day and that it’s just a leftover track from his last album, because this leaves me really cold. It sounds like something that was right off of that first album. I like the lyrical content, but the new stuff that I’d heard from Trey’s latest album just sounded a lot more progressive than this, musically. What I will say that I like about Trey is how he commits to a song. He really sounds like he believes what he’s singing.

Nas and Ceelo. I hate Ceelo’s voice. It’s different, it’s not like he can’t sing, It’s just that his voice is too awkward for me. This song sucks. It sounds dated and it isn’t Nas’ style at all.

Less than an Hour- Nas didn’t come as hard as he usually does, so that was a little disappointing. I LOVE Cee-lo’s voice and yet again I agree with Brian everything that Cee-lo does he has amazing control of his voice. That is simply because he’s an actual artist.
Do It Well- I’m glad it is an uptempo song J. Lo can do those kind of songs better than ballads. She doesn’t have the voice to carry ballads, but I still don’t like that song. I guess it might be a club banger.
Set Wings- Trey Songz just always knows how to glide over a record. I’m feelin this track.
