I really don’t care to talk about anyone’s music posted except Amerie. I read the comment that says find your own style…WTF…She has her own style. Her first album was on point (still listen to it, like it just came out), her second album was on point & it was completely different from the first album (still listen to it, like it just came out), her mixtape came out (pure fire)! And this album is great. Paint me over is the best cut hands down, but the album is fire, again it is completely different from all the other albums she put out prior. It took me a listen or two for some of the tracks, but now I have to listen to at least one of her cd’s before I go to bed. I don’t expect everyone to like her, but she isn’t a flop or half as awful as some make her out to be. Her pen game is crazy…..WHEW!lol

I guess everyone has a different opinion. I like Amerie’s song. It’s cute, the lyrics are sweet. Keri’s song is not bad. Trey Songz should be shot for making that crap. She is in a totally different lane and you can tell she loves what she does (Because I Love It). She wrote all her songs on this album and co-and executive produced it. She wanted to take credit for herself. Rich Harrison was Amerie. Yes, he wrote all her songs and produced all her tracks. Amerie was probably the singer he always wanted to be as strange as that sounds. But to everyone who is saying she should get back, “they had chemistry”. Yeah maybe in the future but Rich Harrison was collecting all her money!!! When you don’t write or produce (Rihanna) you don’t get
any money. Unless you can luck up a signature Umberella-ella or American Express deal then your SOL if your records don’t sell (Toni Braxton). She just wanted to be her own woman and you can’t fault her for that!

And…the only reason her album hasn’t come out in the US yet is because their is a hell of a fall line-up this year:

Amerie is do her own thing with the 80’s style, and I respect her for that. It’s too bad people in the states will only buy what their radio stations think is cool. This is exactly why whack-ass singers like Rihanna’s non-singing ass is so successful. Brian I wish you would show Amerie more support. At least she’s not jumping on this whole techno-future shit like other singers out here.

After listening to the other three songs, i have to say I liked both Amerie and Keri’s songs.

Trey Songz’s Grub On -is nothing new (as far as the concept) it is what is! I can’t say I totally don’t like it,but it just the same ole package wrapped in a different bow!

Overall, I think all are okay songs!
