As for that bishop and that church—-see, it is my opinion that church folk these days have gotten more caught up in pastor worship than God/Christ worship. People tend to praise their pastor and put them on this pedastal, acting like they can do no wrong, when man of God or not, we are all subject to sin. Preachers can make mistakes too, as they are human, but this kind of behavior is intolerable. What those church members are do regarding this Weeks character is trying to be Christ-like and forgive that man for what he has done. However, trust and believe that most of them do not agree with his behavior and many are probably headed out the door because they do not want to associate themselves with him. So do not take that one quote and brand the whole church as accepting his presence and his behavior.

Everyone has been wronged, offended, and sinned against at some point in life. And what most Christians do is TRY to forgive others because God also has forgiven them. And that’s what we all should take into account. Church folks don’t can about the type of sin…sin is sin to them. All they do is try to forgive a person and help he/she find a solution. But again, this has absolutely nothing to do with forgetting. And please believe that many are taking notes and writing that man off in that church. Because being violent is not the answer in any situation.

Please don’t get it twisted…I do not agree with this Weeks behavior, actions or statements about the devil but what I do know is that God will handle this…he will reap what he sow. But in the meantime, we all need to stop criticizing those people because we don’t know exactly how they feel or how they may handle this.

Though I do agree with many comments about refusing to all this type of behavior go on in the church and hold people accountable. I suggest the church force him into anger management, therapy or counseling for two years. If he does not comply, he has to give his full resignation as the Bishop and remove all titles and duties in the church.
