Here’s Lil Mo’s video for her current single, “Sumtimes I,” featuring Jim Jones. The video was shot in Atlanta down on Peter Street at the popular bar and lounge, Pearl. Earlier today, I did an album review on Lil’ Mo’s album, so it’s good to see that she finally released the video.

Lil’ Mo is one of the the best kept secrets in R&B! It’s good to see her back again.
The song is nice the video is what it is I guess, but one thing you can’t deny the girl has a nice voice. She can sing that’s for damn sure. That’s all I care about damn the video let the song and her voice be on point!

It is definately a softer side of Lil Mo, considering the early 2000 days of the blue and wild color hair and stuff. I just do not like all of the tat’s all over the place. There is a level of street you leave behind when you are an R&B or female artist. If you notice, even females in the rap game are all tat up…I don’t know why a lot of them do to the extreme that they do.
Otherwise, Lil Mo definately is trying to show a softer side of her (minus the tat’s), and I guess that’s why the video is all over the place….wish the track and video was better produce…Lil Mo is a hidden talent in the R & B game. And for those who don’t remember her…she is known for singing hooks for Faboulous and Missy Elliot ( who used to produce her and Tweet back in the late 90′s/2K).
She needs a new camp cause they are not marketing her right. C’mon she should be on BET, MTV etc promoting her album.

man..regardless of her video just now coming out and it not being directed better. i still think this is a good song…now i wouldnt have casted Jim Jones as my love interest but thats just my opinion. I have always been a Lil Mo fan – I loved her “The Girl Next Door” CD, and I still listen to it. I really like this song. I think she looks great – except for all of the tattoos. Some of them look like straight up jail house tats!
The video looks a little bootleg, but it’s still nicely and tastefully done.

As for the “ghost-riding” in the bed, it makes perfect sense. The lyrics are saying, “sometimes I lay in my bed at night, and wonder what it would be like if you were my man.” She’s fantasizing.

the deal went bad and she had to serach and get another deal and you guys no thats not easy these days thanks to the internet and she was going thru alot with her exhusband that she had 2 kids with she got mad love from the south
the rapper mike jones helped her out with a deal and now she is the king of her shhhh
she put this album out by her self with her own lebel deal so she doing a good job if you ask me cause you guys are still waiting for ms hill to still come back out
