1. Brandy was not under the influence of anytihing, she was not on a cell phone and she was not putting on any make up. She was not distracted. The cops already ruled out any neglagence in her case. It was a pure accident. Nothing more, and stop acting like she did this on purpose because she did not. It was an accident (again for the 500th time). In fact, her car did not even hit that woman’s car. Another car involved in the pile up did (or did y’all just comveintly forget there were other cars involved). Mike, deserves to be punished for his involvement. However we are talking about dogs. Not people. I do like animals, but I do not value dogs over people. We have had other NFL & NBA stars who have been involved in the loss of life, and aiding drugs in our own communities, and they have not suffered this harsh of a punishment. Michael Vick is a selfish,sadistic,worthless human being who has no regard for life human or animal. Brandy had an accident. My prayers are for Brandy and the other families.I’ve seen people get in car accidents and believe me its not a pretty sight. Accidents can be cause by multitude of things. I am not here to judge what happen but I think the charge is extreme in manner. If the families want money for losses and punitive damages, give it to them its not worth dragging the situation out.

@112 If that is true it wouldn’t surprise me. Unfortunately, the NFL ’s only concern in this case was to save the appearance of the league. I believe that they knew a long time ago that Vick had this operation going on and allowed it. It was a LARGE operation. They estimated some 200 dogs having gone through that house at some point. The team had to have known, they just had to act on it when it came out to the public. Public opinion can be costly and they tried to do damage control with the indictment. I think that if Michael Vick sees another playing field, that some other player will provide street justice. It would be a really rough season for him. It would be in his best interest to get some counseling, donate to PETA, and maybe build some animal shelters to show his remoarse. This will never happen though, since he’s not remoarseful. The potential greed of the NFL and of Michael Vick might force us to see Michael Vick in a uniform again. Hopefully they put “OOKIE” on the back so we never forget who he really is.

As for John Singleton vs Brandy, as far as I’m concerned, they were both accidents, and my heart goes out to them and the victims’ families. Those who claim to know the truth vs rumor about Brandy should just obtain a copy of the police report - if it’s available to the public. That should settle it.

I believe that if mike vick was a white person, it wouldn’t be this harsh. The system is all messed up, they value the life of an animal more than kids.
