The show wasnt that bad in my opinion… I really enjoyed Alicia’s performance, She’s beautiful and Rihanna looked beautiful as always. She’s really representing for us Island Girls!!!!!!!

Beyonce and Alicia look beautiful as always. Everyone looks nice except Diddy! Why is Kanye’ on his tipped toes faced up against 50! He crazy! I also read he had a fit because Brittany was the opening act instead of him and also because he did not win anything. Brittany a hot mess! Get some help lil girl!

this show was not boring lol what you ya’ll consider good? maybe it’s just me. BET Awards are good but they don’t compare to MTV with the sets, lighting, overall atmosphere. Even the peformances were better, idk it’s just my opinion……

Chris Brown is a way better performer than I thought he was, shit the boy can dance his ass off, he had the best performance. I didn’t think the show was bad I actually liked it, it was better and alot more entertaining then usual. And I see why Timbaland didn’t won’t Britney to perform, she was just standing there lip synching barely moving like she was shy or some shit.
And did yall notice how Jamie Foxx and Diddy made show to mention Kid Rock and Tommy Lee got into a fight, that was too funny, they made show to let everybody know it’s not just black people fighting at award shows.

I actually liked these awards show. They were pretty entertaining. New concept and new location. Great performances except Britney’s.

As for Britney, I guess any publicity is good publicity, b/c her performance is overshadowing everything else. She still needs some prayer, cause that child isn’t right upstairs.
i have so far just watching the performances I havent seen the show yet. But by some of the reviews I won’t even bother.

This show was absolutely horrible…. To start Brittany Spears was probably the worse. She looked as if she was looking for K. Fed in the audience the whole time. Chris Brown surprised the hell out of me. WOW… Usher you better hurry back. Ashanti looked good as welll…. Its amazing she was just fat a week ago now she Janet Jackson thin.lol…50 cent was himself…CORNY… Kanye killed it. He will sell more than 50… Justin and Timbaland shut it down. Oh Tim put a shirt on your not buff nega… Dr Dre been in the gym… Nicole looked good but she needs the PCD’s… shes lacking confidence. I did not like this award show. I feel like MTV is falling off….if it wasn’t for CHRIS BROWN and ALICIA KEYS killing their performances, then this show wouldn’t have even been worth watching. They saved the show….oh and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and TIMBERLAND did a good job too, along with KANYE. I just didn’t like how they were going back and forth to different rooms, confusing the hell out of me. LOL! And I thought this was supposed to be an awards show? For the show: no showstoppers in the whole bunch. The closest was Chris Brown and I give him major props for at least trying to entertain, even if the Michael Jackson schtick is tired.
Britney sucked and looked like a stripper who refuses to leave the game and has been on the pole too long. Damn she is a trainwreck. Sarah Silverman let her know, but then took it way too far.
Alicia is trying so hard to turn into a sex kitten but her voice was sooooo unpleasant and that song is horrible. She pranced in the painted on pants for the guys in the front row but she just doesn’t command the stage to me.
Kanye surprised me with that song “Good Life.” He tore it up, but why was it in a party suite? It was hot nonetheless.
RiRi looked great as usual but turned in yet another flat, mediocre performance that is her trademark. It’s just not her strong suit i guess.
Jamie and Diddy has me CTFU at their comments on Tommy Lee and Kid Rock — “white on white crime” indeed. I hope they weren’t fighting over that yucky looking Pamela Anderson.
The Knowles looked great and looks like it was a family affair. Wasn’t feeling Beyonce’s dress but the woman always gives gorgeous face.
Mary J seemed to have a lot of trouble with her speech/prompter reading. I don’t know what the hell happened. It was like mush-mouth. But that buff Dr. Dre made me forget all about her flubs. Put that man on a Wheaties box!

The show was HELLA boring. Black folks helped MTV save SOME face because we were the best performances.
-Britney=WTF??? Was she drunk? She was underdressed, and not comfortable with her outfit/body. Her ass was doing pre-show practice moves…you know where you half move and you just pretend like you’re going through the motions, but you don’t give your full energy. She was stiff as hell.
-J-T=he was aight. Personally, I can’t stand him, but him and Timbaland did alright.
Chris Brown=Lil MJ. I love watching him dance. He tore it up. And the throwback Billie Jean dance was the isht, but he should’ve invited MJ to come out at that point and show ‘em how it’s REALLY done. LOL
Rhianna=Control top panty hose are not cute, boo. I wasn’t that impressed with her Umbrella performance, but she still doin’ it big.
AKeyes= My favorite performance of the night. This sista is so talented, man. I’m lovin’ her new song, and her outfit was HOT!
Kanye=I was just sayin’ that I was going to buy his album BEFORE I heard about the tantrum. I really thought he learned his lesson after actin’ a damn fool at the last MTV award show. ^^Uh Clearminded, i’m not trying to be smart but how is ALICIA trying to be a “sex kitten”? Wearing pants makes you a sex kitten? LOL! All those dudes in the audience didn’t have a problem with it, so apperently she doesn’t have too try hard to get people’s attention. Even before Alicia got more feminine with her look, people still thought she was BEAUTIFUL. So I don’t think that has ever been a problem for her. She had DIDDY, CHRIS BROWN, NE-YO, TOMMY LEE (before he got punched in the face, LOL) and everyone else that was around taking pictures like some groupies. LOL! If someone receiving a standing ovation at the end of their performance (without dancing around and just playing the PIANO and singing) is concidered not commanding the stage, then you might not be as “clearminded” as you think. Yeah, when Dre’ came out I was waiting for his “costume” to open up cuz he looks all roided up. LMAO Hell, even Timbaland’s arms looked like a couple of beefcakes, and he’s always been kind of soft.
And is it me or is Sarah Silverman (the wannabe comedian) just not funny most of the time. She might get a chuckle every now and then, but homegirl is just not that funny to me.
