The show was alright… I was looking forward to see Britney just like everybody else… and although she looked nerves as hell she did an o.k. job. I agree with Timberland and Diddy folks give her such a hard time like we don’t have our own issues. The same folks that called her an “out-of-shape mess” last night probably culdn’t get one leg in those shorts she had on last night. SHe did the best she could, hell wouldn’t you be a little un-easy getting on stage for the VMA’s with half of america cheering you on to loose and fall on your face. For her to have giving birth to two kids, gone thru a divorce, a mental melt down, not to mention the amount of stress that come along with having camera’s follow you around all day. You would be stressed the hell out to, we as common folks get all pissed off if we put on our Sundays best and somebody say we look a mess, or roll they eyes at us in the club. We swear “they hating on us”. Folks grow up that girl did good for her first performance now she see’s where she needs to step her game up and I’m sure she will.

Chris Brown stole the shw… he had the best performance and although you could tell where he was lip singing I don’t hear any body talking about him. Maybe Britney is the white Beyonce and everybody who ain’t her hate her.

I actually forgot the VMA’s were airing, I accidentally came upon it while channel surfing. I must say that I was totally confused by the format of this show. It was a complete mess in my opinion (at least the 15 or so minutes I saw), couldn’t bear to watch the rest of it.

Who in the wino-hell-stupor is on this site talking about Britney Spears performance was good???? Get your eyes checked asap! I am amazed that so many people thought this trashy, alcohol syndrome looking piece of shit EVER did anything talented, worth while etc. You place this facially misfigured, voice synthesized piece of crap next to, let’s say, Alicia Keys, J-Hud, Christina Ag., there is just no comparison and no talent to speak of. She should become a back up dancer, like she was meant to be, and please quit acting like she ever did anything worth watching or listening to. She was manufactured into White society’s “IT” girl, they made her, she ran off with their money and blew it! HAHAHAHA! Because I never bought shyt with her name on it! Please believe.

The whole show, with the exception of Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys, was a HOT MESS! What was Timberland doing? He had the biggest azz in the whole place. And Celo looks like a troll gone amuck! LMAO!

The Award Show was very entertaining. MTV did a GREAT job. I loved it and I hope they can keep this up. BET is really gonna have to step it up a notch. Loved all the performances, even Britney a little.

the vma’s sucked they were horrible, i hated the way it was all set up, performances from a hotel room, that was dumb and all the lip singing was annoying, Rihanna didn’t sound that great but looked good. im not planning on watching the show next year, i the two hours of my life i wasted back

DAMN! I WAS ROOTIN FOR BRITNEY! She really let me down…She gave me soft, “I’m high on a bump(coke)” performance. I would have love to see the dramtics she used to bring to her performances, it was one time in VMA history where she was the highlight of the show. Rhinanna however took the cake, FACE,HAIR, THAT DRESS..FLAWLESS! Her performances….well…umm…I didn’t really expect more than what she gave, cause she always gives the same thing performance wise. Mr. Keys(lol) did an okay job, atleast she kept the crowd entertained..and that boot she had on was NASTY!(in a good way). Dr. Dre the weed smoke over the years has not been kind to your mug, your body looks nice though…..

Ashanti really looks cute and tiny and ti do lookcute together.

I think britney spears is not mentally alright. I think she needs help. No joke, I feel sorry for her. She was dancing sluggishly and her dancers had to help her move about sometimes.

Okay Chris KILLED it as always! I loved the whole theme of the fair/carnival. Pure brilliance. I loved the last performance as well with Timb, Nelly, Keri and Justin! They really did their thing! I loved Kanye’s performances as well. I’m really feeling the single “Good Life” featuring T-Pain. Graduation in stores tomorrow! Go get it!

The VMA’S sucked, I think the concept was off!

it was boring but the best performances were from chris and alicia. everyone else either sucked (brit) or did nothing (riri)

i thought the show was OK
i think Kanye did great performances and should have been on the main stage instead of in the suites
i was waiting for somebody to wake brittney azz up during her performance…now im wondering if she even remembers performing
she looked more high than nervous IMO
i think by normal standards for someone who not so long ago gave birth back to back her body was in decent shape (some of you should try doing that and see what your body looks like) but by celebrity standards she should have toned up!

i think jamie was drunk and made jennifer garners azz uncomfortable lol
and i hope mary aint drinking again because she sounded kinda slurred and not completely there

chris brown was good and so was alicia but something was off when she came out i dont know if it was her singing or them horseback riding pants she had on or that horrible hairstyle but she still killed it
i thought rhianna sounded TERRIBLE singing umbrella but she sounded good with the fallout boys

her music sucks big time

Beyonce looked ok……she is aging but she takes great photos. MJB was hot…that woman has not aged a bit…I love her. Congrats to all the winners and to allthe Bey stans..I hope you see the photo of her and Rihanna both are beautifull bey looks a lot older but it is great that there is no beef…only the beef you guys are creating when you talk down about Rihanna.
