As rumored, Kanye West and 50 Cent are covering the next issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. You all know the album showdown is about to end next week on September 11th when Graduation & Curtis drop. Both rappers insist the competition between them is healthy for hip-hop. Kanye said: “Hip-hop is the only sport of music. And these are like championship moments.” 50 added: “We’ve gotta compete.”

We all know that this hype about the release of their albums and this big competition is to garner big sales for both of their albums. They should also know that anyone who drops an album around the same time as theirs is considered competition. (Oh wait I get it they only consider oneanother to be competition )lolHe its the nature of the business so why are they acting liek they are telling us somethign we dont know.

After Biggie and Tupac died (RIP), so did a part of rap as we know it. 50 and Kanye doing a stunt- they need to sit down, sip on some “Vitamin water” and finish getting their “education”- learn from the real rap masters like Biggie and Tupac. I know, I know, my post is corny just like some of 50′s and Kanye’s joints.

Just giving my 2 cents about their albums:
Kanye–Very good album, but not a classic like some critics have made out. We know he’s original, witty and intelligent, but I feel he hasn’t taken it in a new direction. Best track: Homecoming.
50–Better than The Massacre, not as good as Get Rich…! Despite his many critics, I think he’ll shock a lot of people with how good this album is. He made the right move not to release it earlier, since he wasn’t happy with they way it sounded originally. Don’t think it was the wisest thing to say he’ll quit if Kanye outsells him. Best track–I Get Money.
They’re both strong albums.
I don’t buy albums…unless its from artists like nelly furtado or jill scott. I just “borrow” rap music from bearshare (its not good enough to buy a cd). Now, after Kanye’s cd has been out for a month or two I MAY buy it off of amazon for like $2 or $3 bucks!
