ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: JAIDEN - “Forget About U”

Jaiden - Forget About U
Meet Jaiden. This New York based singer/songwriter has reportedly toured with Diddy, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill and John Legend, just to name a few. He is also writing on the new projects for Usher and Janet Jackson. According to his myspace page, Jaiden wants to emerge from the background and let his star shine.
Jaiden’s style pays homage to host of legendary influences and the singer makes sure to tell you that he is serious about his craft. “When I wasn’t singing, I was writing, and when I wasn’t writing I was playing the piano”. Gotta love that. Check out his song, “Forget About U” (produced by Jazz) and leave your 2 cents.
For more info on Jaiden check his myspace page and tell him that CL sent you.

the production is pretty good.. He sings a little flat at the beginning though.. His runs are pretty good , but sounds like anybody that tried for Making the Band 4.. Can I get something a little different????
Also, this material and his style reminds me of Tank. I guess that’s good and bad

I saw dude at The Underground a couple times and no doubt he can sing his ass off…I’m not really feeling his songs too much though…I think he needs a producer to mold him into a seasoned artist cause he can definately sing

For all of you that’s never heard Jaiden perform, it is definetly a must. The boy will out sing anyone in the industry right now. Honestly this track does not show how talented he really is, he is absoulutely ridiculous. He’s a regular performer at the village underground in New York. Check him out there on Sundays.

That’s not poppin’ enough … he’s needs something like So Sick/Ne-yo … to introduce himself. It would be better if it was on the love tip, and not the break-up tip.

It’s hard to believe that EVERYBODY that listens to this song likes it or is it just all the fans that commented.
The beat is mad repetitive and there really isn’t much going on in the vocal syncopation to change that up. The verses, chorus, and bridge all just blend together like one long lyrical line. He can sing, but the song is very boring IMO. The writing is pretty good though. I just think he needs a better producer to showcase his talent and make the song pop a little more.

I LOVE JAIDEN!!! I HATE THIS SONG. I’m appreciative of the fact that I was introduced to his LIVE material first, rather than the recorded stuff. This man is talented beyond belief and I would almost go as far as to say that he can shut anybody in the industry down with pure skill and technique. (At least those who he comparable to.) THE BOY HAS A SICKENING EAR!! Its not a joke what this boy does with his voice. Here is a link to his youtube video…..its well worth listening to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9-7M3-PnTU

Ya’ll just gettin up on Jaiden I’ve been up on him for bout 2 years. Infact we wrote this song called sideline, for this kid called Mishon, he’s signed to Interscope, and is also on a show called Lincoln Hieghts on ABC Family. Look out for him. If you wanna check out that song also hit up my myspace page, and send me a request if you feeling the music. I likes it. Yesss,,,,, just a word of advice if you’re reading this though Jaiden. Quit the cussin. Every song doesn’t have to have “shit” in it. All the legends made great music and never had to cuss, not once. Leave that to the ones that are pressed for lyrics. Cussin unnecessarily is really a turn off for your mature audience who are trynna get their grown and sexy on.
