Sometimes i hate the baby phat line; it just looks so ghetto sometimes. All that damn glitter and the name “baby phat” plastered all over the items spells cheap to me. Kimora needs to step it up, cause her clothes look cheap as hell, even the fabric. I mean look at that crap she’s wearing right now…it looks cheap! I mean the Baby Phat Line is a little cheap looking at times. She may have a few elegant and classy pieces throughtout the collection, but like someone said it’s targeted to a younger audience. Teens and young adults dont want a line full of dull 30-40 year old clothing. I think her KLS line is elegant(the few pieces I seen) and reflects that she can be classy and produce clothing that is simply FAB! Either way you look at this lady is a mogul! Jewlery, fragances, and she always keeps her kids with her which proves she is a good mother. She is a little loud and out-spoken at times but that’s her, and it is what sets her apart from others in her field!
Number 10 is right on…..baby phat looks cheap and ghetto…..and females rock the outfits like its a must have and top notch line…

I didn’t say everything she has it cheap….i just think she should branch out a bit more and stop plastering everything with “baby phat” all over it, and stop using so much glitter. It makes it a bit cheap to me, and i know Kimora loves everything big and shiny and over the top cause that’s her personality. I just stopped buying her stuff it just seems a bit cheesy, but that’s just my opinion, i certainly wouldn’t criticize anyone else who don’t share my opinion, some people love her line, and more power to them. I have to say that I love Kimora Lee, and her line IS targeted for the teenage-to-young-woman age. She also has a more mature line, which is her KLS Collection. However, as with any line, you’re going to see some items that you would wear, and others you wouldn’t wear, so really it depends on the person. I do agree with the person who said that sometimes the 10,000 dollar stuff is cheap looking as well. I think that as long as you know how to rock it, put your own twist on things, you can shop at Foxmoor or Rainbow, but STILL come out looking FIERCE!
I like Kimora…with her it is what it is. I personally do not wear baby phat because I feel that line is better marketed for youths. I’m a 23 yr old med student and most certainly do not want a cat sitting on my chest or butt.
