Diddy: I mean, I’ll be honest – I like ConcreteLoop because it’s black. As a black man, I like Perez (Hilton) too, but (ConcreteLoop isn’t) really not about the gossip. It’s more of like a fun approach to it, instead of trying to really hurt people, or being like serious news. When I see stuff (on there), and I see all the black people that have become successful and that are stars, you know, the high-fashion lifestyle that they’re living, you know we don’t really get a lot of play in a People or a Us Weekly or wherever. This is really for my community… I tap on(line) and you know I see all my people. They beat me up on there crazy though…but you know it’s all fun to me. Good looking out to Diddy (and Kanye) for being real about what the people behind CL are doing. I applaud your efforts. Creating a forum for us to go and discuss everything from celebrities to fashion and civil right causes. I can’t help but to say that I believe that CL, is the real driving force behind the Jena 6 movement today. Media outlets have contributed “blogs” and radio dj’s as the initiators of the march, but I’m going to go one step further and say that it was CL and the people behind it and blogging on CL that have really stirred the country and kept this issue in the light. I personallly just discovered the site about a month ago, but have visited and re-visited everyday since.
Keep up the good work! I have referred so many people (co-workers, family and friends) in the last week to this site that I now see them adding and responding to blogs. It’s beautiful black people! Just like the sites in Jena today.
