50 Cent – I Get Money
Aside from having an extremely honest album cover, 50 Cent really intrigues me. Not only has he managed to release two great albums, get great endorsements with Vitamin Water, he has also turned himself into quite the celebrity, keeping his name in the press by making the risque appearance in the Ciara video, as well as just saying whatever to whomever he wants. Regardless of what anyone says, 50 knows who is audience is and he knows how to appeal to both sides of the spectrum. Curtis, 50′s third major-label studio album, is a great blend of street-credible songs, and mainstream music. He used a wide range of production, from super producers like Dr. Dre and Timbaland, to little-knowns and newcomers, as well as a host of guest appearances ranging from Akon, Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, Eminem, Young Buck, Nicole Scherzinger, Mary J. Blige and Tony Yayo. Although 50′s cocky, you can’t help but notice he’s got a reason to be.

50 cent is truly intriguing. But I still believe he cannot sell without controversey swirling around his head. When he fisrt came out woth “Amusement Park,” he did not get the buzz he was hoping. Why? Because he was not beefing with anyone. Then he puts out “I Get Money” and started going at Lil Wayne and he start getting over 3000 spins a day. Go figure!!

I like both artist for their ability to dream and accomplish their goals (i.e. Vitamin Water and GOOD Music). They have entirely two different target markets. Meaning if you like 50 Cent you probably really like him and don’t care for the other and if like Kanye West you probably really like and don’t care for the other then you have your people in the middle who just respect their hustle (me).
So maybe we should support our black men for what they doing right instead of arguing over how we HATE OUR OWN PEOPLE. Let’s talk about who we are going to support for something that really matters in the world like Healthcare, After School Programs and the War in Iraq.

In the club “I get money” gets the whold crowd on the dance floor. In fact any 50 song has the club, basement party and block party jumping.

The album is garbage, I only put it on to listen to track #1 and it’s an intro. Kanye’s Graduation on the other hand is the truth, I don’t have to press skip at all but I’m constantly pressing the previous track button to run songs back.
I think 50′s new album is better than The Massacre. The Mary Joint, The Em joint & the Dre joint are outstanding. I think Kanye made 50 step his game up. I will support 50′s & Ye’s album.

I am so mad at Brian with his album reviews. I have checked out both albums and I hate 50 cent. His album is so typical form 50 cent. The same thing as the last album and it sucks. All his beats are the same and i cant stand it. He raps about the same things as well. BORE. Then I notice that Brian’s review for the 50 cent album was longer then the Kanye West interview.
