Fashion Week in NY has started and Gwen Stefani’s LAMB line was one of the collections to go down the runway and display it’s spring 2008 line. Stars like Diddy and Eve came to check out the new clothing, its been 2 years since Gwen’s line has hit the catwalk.

Gwen Stephanie makes the shittiest clothes and the shitiest music. Her first collection of bags looked like Canal St. Gucci knock offs and the rest of her clothes are total rip offs of contemporary Japanese labels, as is her style.
When I heard she was suing Forever 21 for copying her label I almost fell out. This chick has been recylcing other designers for years. She is also the music industries #1 culture vulture – no ones safe: Jamacains, Black Americans, Indians, Mexicans, Japanese….she has ripped them all off. Just go to Tokyo and stroll Takeshita street where all the Harjuku girls hang out on Sunday and you will see where Gwen has copped all of her style from. I’m sure many you have already seen it with your own eyes.
Up close and in person, those L.A.M.B clothes are horrid. They are poorly made and overpriced, just like JLO, HOD or any other celebrity line. And lets not forget to mention the fact that she uses Japanese people as STAGE PROPS. I’m sorry, I don’t like minstrel shows no matter who’s being made fun of. I was happy to hear that Asain protested outside of her CA concert during the tour for her last album. Somebody needs to call her out on her insensitive foolishness. She is lame ass, who clearly doesn’t have enough talent to make it as a solo artist without some wack ass gimmic!

I luv Gwen, but she has said herself that she finds her inspirations for her line by seeing something she likes and making it her own. Seriousley though, fashion is so unoriginal these days, everyone bites off everyone else. Her son is really cut BTW. Everyone looks great and Nelita (Nick and Selita) look so cute together. I hate me some Diddy.
I have to disagree with the statments about Gwen. If you knew the history of No Doubt you would realize that w/o Gwen that group wouldnt even existed after thier first album, some people need get thier facts straight. But since this is a black blog thats all I’m gonna say on that.
Anyhoo I think that everyone looks nice and I wish I could go to fashion week *sigh*.

Congratulations to her for yodeling on a track and hitting billboard, we have snap and crunk artists virtually talking nothing on a beat making a catchy hook and they too are on billboard. Does it mean its good? No…just means enough ppl liked it and bought it. These days 10,000 sales gets you a spot on billboard in their cases. Thank you to the one person who agreed with me on Gwen being the rip off artist she is..but hey its my opinion. Just like I acknowledge your right to your own.
Yep and without the band..there would be no gwen. This is also not a “Black” blog its a public blog!! So as far as your facts..check the credits on those songs on all those cd’s you claim gwen magically created herself. Remember what music came out of no doubt and then stuff that came out after the band..bigggggg difference.

and all the ppl who say gwen has changed, obviously haven’t listened to no doubt albums. “hey baby baby” was an extremely pop song so why be surprised that her first album was pop. besides the girl listens to diff music, just like me so i can’t hate on her diff styles. and when has she not made reference to harajuku girls. everyone knows they greatly influence her so how is she biting them
There is still some similartries esp the Reggae influenced music between the no doubt and Gwen records. And Gwen co-wrote or wrote pretty much all of No doubt best songs, esp after her brother left the band, her name is on almost every track of their last three albums. Not Tom and not Adrian ..(those two members IMO could’ve been replaced)…It’s really Tony and Gwen who shines the most in that Band…..And she also did all the created work on some of their albumn covers. Anyways, Gwen got into this business not by flashing her body, lip singing, or sucking some guys you know what, She got her on her talent ability…She may not be the best singer, dancer, or actress, but to get to where she’s @ now with limited talent shows a lot about the type of person she is. Gwen promotes Gwen, Not lorellal, cover girl, or Armani (its a reason why you dont see her face on other peoples products and its not that she doesnt get offers from these companies) She is a true artist who truly believes in her work and it shows.
