About the herpes thing…anyone who has cold sores (like TI) has been exposed to the herpes simplex 1 virus. You get it from birth (one or both parents were exposed, eithrer 1 or 2) or close contact (kissing, etc.) with someone who has been exposed. Herpes simplex 2 virus is genital herpes. (Source http://www.herpes-coldsores.com) I’m pretty sure it’s a cold sore and not a scar since sometimes it’s there and other times not. You can’t convincingly cover cold sores with make-up.
As far as the movie goes, I’m thinking maybe they’ll age Common some to make the casting believable. I just think they needed someone with Common’s swagger to play the father of someone like TI.
What it all boils down to is. If the man does or doesn’t have herpes none of you shit talkers are fucking him or getting money like or with him so what difference does it make other than you’re all a bunch of gossiping motherfuckers with your own problems you need to be worrying about. It’s so many diseases and handicaps and worst shit going on in this world if you aint giving him none shut the fuck up.
