I understand that people want to “escape” and talk shit every once in a while. Even I come to CL to talk smack when the mood hits me. But it just still amazes me how much EFFORT and ENERGY people put into debating on these posts about her and the most mundane shit, like hair color and who wore black hair first. WTF???

Not to go off on a tangent but I will. Did anyone see that video of that college kid that got the shit tazered out of him for asking John Kerry a question (not a threat but a question)? Well, it wasn’t even the kid that had me stunned. It was all the kids in the audience. They all sat there and didn’t do shit. No one moved, flinched, said a word, nothing. It was like looking at Invasion of the Body Snatchers — straight bionic and brainwashed. That’s what I think of when I come on here and see 200+ posts (most of them arguements) over someone/something that has no intrinsic relevance or value to the future of America. lol. It’s programming, apathy and f*cked up priorities. And while most of the real ADULTS on here can separate entertainment value from true life value and what’s important, a lot of these kids on here have no clue and it’s a sad shame. There is no balance. But I apologize for the tangent (not really). Please continue with the great color debate. It’s fascinating.

The darker hair is fine, but i think she needs to contact whoever does Gabrielle Union’s weaves, so that they could style it better. The make up looks ridiculous, waaaaay too much & over the top, but thats her thing i guess.

& just to set the record straight Rihanna was NOT the first chick to rock the dark asymmetrical bob, Kelis was. People first started copying the bob summer of 2006. Rihanna’s sylist just ran w/a trend that was already set in motion. Besides Vickie Beckhan had the cut before Rihanna as well as did Sienna Millier lol Rihanna started nothing. lol @ the idea of a follower setting trends.

Kelis was also the first chick i saw rocking the high-waisted pants look of last season, she was wearing them back in 05/06 as well, but that’s another topic. lol

I merely stated that she did, but I said it when she was alive too… I neither brought her up nor said it with malice. It was relevant…someone mentioned her natural beauty and so I said it… But, as I said, I was careful to note that I saw nothing wrong with it, with any of their nose jobs. Still, it doesn’t change the fact that it is true. She and all those other women, plus millions more have had nose jobs.
But, ultimately, the larger looming fact is you went through an awful lot of posts, an awful lot of reading, for someone so profoundly disinterested.

To the people who keep saying something is weird/doll-like/different about her face… Her eyes are lined in white…it almost always does something odd to the face… It’s a combination of that and the darker hair color against her skin.

IMO Beyonce is very pretty. She is a bit overrated in the looks department though to me; Rihanna is prettier even with the 5-head, Aaliyah was prettier, to me she is one of the prettiest and most striking people EVER. Stacy Dash and Mya are prettier to me. Gabrielle Union is prettier to me. Yeah Beyonce is pretty but she isnt strikingly pretty. I agree with whoever said she looks like Naomi Campbell only lighter. I thin her talent and music and style take her above other people in terms of sexiness or whatever… not really her looks.
