Some may not like Keyshia Cole…but it’s obivious by her ’staying power’ that many do like her and connect with her as a artist and as a person. So to those who wish to hate, hate…hate on, as Jill Scott says, because like Mary J. Blige; it will only make Ms. Keyshia Cole stronger. But Keyshia is wise enough to know, even at this stage in her life and career, she is who she is and she don’t have to be nothing else for nobody, because you cannot and will not be able to please everybody. There will be some they simply won’t be feeling you, they won’t like you, bottom line. I admire Keyshia and quite frankly, I don’t have to like her, because I know that she is still growing personally and professionally. Keyshia may be unpolished…ghetto…hood or whatever else people may think….but no one can take away the fact that she is a fighter and that she IS talented. Her album is selling…it’s doing exceptionally well…music is not always about the voice being perfect, the artist being perfect…but about the passion, the experiences and honesty that the artist is willing to present to world. That is what many people connect to….THE FEELING. Bobby Womack would always say…”I’m all about the feeling”….That what Keyshia Cole is about. That’s what so many great artists are about. I don’t know where God will direct Keyshia’s path musically, but I’m sure that with time, her voice will mature and grow . As far as her approach to being professional, she is a product of her environment and experiences, there is alot of pain inside of Keyshia, when we have pain and discontent, we are reactive…God is working in her life, and I believe that Keyshia will find the peace that will take her to even greater heights, peace and wisdom don’t always come so easy, but when it does, Keyshia will be more in control of how she conducts herself professionally. But make no mistake, many of the things she is critized for, are the same things people love about her. So Keyshia, if your reading this, be you and be better!

Anybody who listened to that interview and concluded that Keyshia mishandled herself is delusional. Because even the DJ acknowledged that there was some misconceptions and confusion, and he came at her a little raw because she wasn’t giving him what he expected.

If anything this was a good look for her - she cleared up the confusion, and the DJ was going at her because he “thought” she stood them up the day before, and she explained that she wasn’t even aware of the scheduling problem.

Her asking to speak with the brother off the air - and then his explaining that he had a geniune concern for her was the way folk ought to try and build each other up - not take every opportunity to knock one another down.

Keyshia looks great. She has really nice skin. I love her and all, but I always get the impression that she’s being fake…She has positive messages and she seems like a smart girl, but I always feel like she’s just saying all that good stuff and not really applying it to her own life or just saying good things for the sake of it, I dunno, that’s just what I get from her…Anyway, I still love her music.

#93, you do have a point, but i think that she shouldn’t have gone in their with an attitude in the first place. even if the interview was sprung on her last minute, she didn’t have to get an attitude with the dj….she should’ve been funky with her management team for doing that to her. that’s not a good look. she realized that and cleared it up. i know everyone has bad days, but when ur famous like that your bad days get broadcasts all over the internet and the world, so she could’ve handled it better from the start of the interview. she’s still cool though..it’s the music that matters anyway.

I agree with the people who say Keyshia deserves a chance to grow, to learn…I agree BUT on the issue of her “bad attitude” it’s sorta weird to dismiss her it, while giving her credit for her business savvy… One would think a woman with enough intelligence to write and oversee her projects, would also have enough intelligence to find more constructive ways of handling her frustrations, that is when it comes to her profession…
Yes, people use the “loud” and “bad attitude” stereotypes to bring us down and NO I don’t want anyone being subservient BUT tempestuous fits don’t start or stop with people doing you wrong, you’ll have them in your everyday life, with your friends and family. I have not heard the interview, but how she spoke to Ne-Yo was both unwarranted and senseless… And, he looked at her, in that disgusted way that people look at idiots, and it made me sad for her… No, I find her neither disgusting nor idiotic, I too think she’s business savvy so I think it insulting of her, insulting of her intelligence, to excuse these moody fits of hers… It’s not understanding/appreciating her growth process, it’s patronizing her… And, that’s another American transgression, another insult to African Americans, the idea that we must always be accepted with a given measure of impropriety…

She was on the radion in Bmore the olther day..and you know what she do got a bad attitude. And the Host of the morning show Marc told her about herself.. in a very nice way. Cuz from the moment she hit the air…you could hear it in her voice. But after he checked her the rest of the interview went pretty well. After listening to it..it didnt make me like her any better..not at all.. if anything it made me dislike her in a way. Which is sad cause I kinda liked her but the attitude wasnt nasty cause he wasnt even being rude to her or askin about her personal life..he was just askin about the album that she was there to promote. If she aint wanna be there she shouldnt have come in the first place. Just my opinion.

First of all let me start by saying Keyshia you can do much better, Jeezy is ugly and his personality got to go. It would be different if he were ugly with a nice personality a woman can work with that. Keyshia is way more attractive than Milay, she had mentioned before in interviews that she was engaged to Jeezy or they were in a relationship. Let Milay have him see not only is she trying to pass a out of style curl off as good hair she ain’t all that. You can get another man Keyshia you look way better than Milay don’t be desperate, I know some people do strange things for money but he is not worth it. Milay is desperate out of style has a curl, you are prettier way more stylish.
