As some of you may know by now, The movie for “Sex & The City” (due out May 2008) has started filming in New York. Many fans, like myself have probably seen the candids floating around of the cast and their wonderful outfits.
Yesterday was Jennifer Hudson’s first day on the job. She plays the assistant to lead character Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) and new friend. How do you like her look? Obviously, she has some spunk to her because thats one spunky outfit…
Tuesday, September 25th, Will.I.Am released his solo album since the disbandment of the Black Eyed Peas, Songs About Girls. Surprisingly, the only guest appearance of note on his album is Snoop Dogg, which I thought was pretty interesting. Much like Fergie’s debut album, The Dutchess (which was highly praised and is still putting out singles), I thought that Will.I.Am’s album would be almost a carbon copy of a Black Eyed Peas album.
Interestingly enough, Will.I.Am didn’t even feature his former bandmate on the album. I do like the energy of the album, however, even though I don’t think it’s represented well in the first single, “I Got It From My Mama.” The album is fun and funky, just like I expected, but we’ll see if Will.I.Am should just stick to production instead of trying to be an artist.
Tyra Banks was spotted rocking a questionable wig yesterday afternoon in New York. The ex-model turned T.V. personality quickly jumped in the car and it pulled off. She is lucky the wind didn’t blow too hard, or she would have been ass’d out!
In related news, I’ve been getting random emails about a possible feud between Tyra and Ciara. I normally don’t post ish that sounds bogus, but someone said it happened at a recent taping of the Tyra Banks show. We’ll see how this one pans out.
According to the U.K. paper The Mirror, Halle Berry has upped her security after receiving crazy threats about her unborn child. Berry and her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry are expecting their first child together this spring.
Oscar-winner Halle Berry has hired security guards because of racist threats to her unborn baby.
The star, three months pregnant, has received letters at her LA home from an anonymous sicko.
One said she and her child would be “cut into hundreds of pieces”.
A source close to the actress said: “Halle does not normally use security but she has taken on a couple of guys to make sure.” Police are investigating the threats. [SOURCE]
I hope this is just a rumor. There are some crazy sickos out there man.
Mariah Carey is responding to Diddy’s fragrance challenge issued to her and several other female pop stars last week. At a tour of his “Unforgivable Mansion” last week, promoting his new fragrance, Diddy said:
“I send out a challenge…I challenge all of my female counterparts that have fragrances…that my fragrance is better than theirs. I’m a man and I know how women should smell!
“I like their fragrance but… I invite them to come out, meet me on a Saturday or Sunday on 5th Avenue and we do it like Pepsi blind smell taste. My fragrance is launching and we can see whose fragrance is better, mine or yours. And the loser has to pay for the shopping spree.”
