Well , instead of donating for a memorial, why not do something positive with the money raised, and fulfill King’s real dream. Take the money , and start a charity that would enpower the black community, like a clinic, library. But, to allocate funds for a memorial, how is that beneficial to his legacy?

BTW: I refuse to wear black concerning Jena 6, because instead of doing that, why don’t these so called activists , push black folks into getting into college, making positive strides in the community, voter registration, and AIDS, and drug awareness. And building up our own communities so that we won’t have to bus our children into communities that has a history of racial violence.
