Keyshia Cole - Truth (full) - listen
Here’s a track that’s unreleased from Keyshia’s Cole’s, Just Like You, released Tuesday. I actually kind of like the song, and I can see where it would fit in with the rest of the album, which is usually not the case with leftovers. I think that Keyshia’s voice sounds better than it ever has on Just Like You. I have a couple guesses as to who produced this track, but I’m not truth. Make sure you go out and cop the new album if you’re digging the new material from Miss Cole.
Jaheim - Never (full) - listen
I’ve never been a huge fan of Jaheim or his music for some reason. I think that since I’ve always been so attached to all of Tank’s album, including his latest one, Sex, Love & Pain, I just never got into Jaheim’s music, considering that I felt like his place was already taken. Also, after listening to this song, I have to admit that there’s no denying that Jaheim has a nice voice, but his material just sounds a little dated to me. I couldn’t see myself sitting around listening to this. But it looks like that means he has a new album in the works.
Fergie - Clumsy (full) - listen
I don’t see how Fergie has been putting out singles for so long! The Dutchess was released last year, but that’s sort of been the trend for the past couple of years. It seems that more currently, artists have been able to stretch their albums. Chris Brown did it with his first release, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and others have managed to stretch their albums, and that’s a good look. “Clumsy” is the 5th single from Fergie’s album, produced by Will.I.Am. I’ve heard it on the radio a few times, so maybe there is a video in the works. I think this’ll probably be Fergie’s last single from the album.
Laurie Ann Gibson - Addictive (full) - listen
I find it hilarious that Laurie Ann Gibson has recorded a song. Over the summer, Angel posted a hot or not post with the snippet of this song, and now the full version has finally been released. I don’t know, I just don’t see it. Laurie Ann definitely is a great dancer, she’s proved that. But an artist? It just seems as though since the Making the Band 4 fiasco, she has been trying to keep her name afloat in the media. I think that Laurie Ann has made enough of a name for herself to continue to be a choreographer. I don’t think this is such a good idea.

I was always a Jaheim fan. He can’t do anything wrong in my eyes. His first album “Ghetto Love” is a classic. He stays in the ghetto love mode. Love him……
He is a sweetheart but if need be he will take it to the streets……Love him….:o)!

DON’T GROUP FERGIE WITH BEYONCE. AFTER A YEAR THE GIRL IS STILL IN THE TOP 10 ON BILLBOARD WITHOUT A RERELEASE. SHE DIDN’T FORCE SINGLES DOWN OUR THROATS LIKE BEYONCE, SHE DID IT BASED ON THE DEMAND FOR THE ALBUM.
CHRIS BROWN DID PUT OUT A LOT AS WELL. GREAT LABEL THAT JIVE/ZOMBA

@ #13. I Totally agree with you… I’ve been a Jaheim fan since his very first album… And I love how he stays true to who he is… and his voice is so old school, but he has the umph about him that you really can’t comepare him to anyone… you don’t find r&b singers like this anymore… You have all these high pitch singers… That I love as well because I’m a fan of music… But sometimes I need to hear the voice of a real man… Deep voice and all!!!! Go Ja!!!

Jaheim was on the scene way before Tank. So Tank sounds like Jaheim. I always liked Jaheim and was wondering why he haven’t came out with new music. I guess he got tired of the gay questions.:)

I’d pick Jaheim over Tank anyday. What is Brian talking about? Tank’s albums aren’t even close to being as good as Jaheim’s.

Laurie Ann Gibson’s song is DEFINITELY not a good look! It is almost as if she is trying to sound like Fergie.
Keep dancing and then regroup and come back with something different, something like Cassie, not a good singer but at least the tracks are tight.

As far as stretching albums, Janet Jackson is the orginator of this, she has had a couple of albums where damn near every song came out as a single.

I love Fergie’s album. Clumsy is one of my top 3 favorite songs from the album. I am going to get that Keyshia Cole today and I hope it has as many hits as the first.

I like Keisha’s new song. Fergie songs have a tendancy to grow on me. Jaheim, not feeling it but he has a lot of potential, I liked some of his other albums. Laurie Ann What? Are you serious girl? Why your song sounds like it’s skipping? Stick to the dance moves but spend some time thinking about that real hard!

I love keyshia new CD its def for the ladies a lot of heartache and pain, but it also offers sum kick his ass to the curb songs too. I love keyshia because you can hear it in her voice that she’s singing about what she’s living and a lot of other females are living as well. Also her voice sounds a lot better on this album. If your not feeling it, it’s probably because ur not going thru n e of the things she’s singing about. But its def a good buy so go cop it today!!!! I’m from the Bay and I must say she’s making us all proud~!!!! Go Kesh, HATERS go hate cuz thats they job. If anybody deserves it you do because you’ve been at the bottom and now ur at the top!!!!!
BAY AREA STAND UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t think people are hating, I think it’s just a diffrence of taste in music. I still don’t think she is a great singer but I agree with you she has gotten better.

Keyshia why did you keep this song from us???!!! I really like it. I have been listening to her CD everyday and absolutely love Heaven Sent. That is such a beautiful song and melody.
Have any of you heard of Ledisi? I bought her CD on the same day I bought Keyshia’s and this girl is BAD! I mean the whole CD is crazy. I am skipping over a couple of Keyshia’s songs (sometimes songs have to grow on me) but Ledisi, every song was good when I initially heard them.

I meant ‘Sent From Heaven’ regarding to Keyshia’s new CD. I am definitely going through what she is singing about. I think we need more songs like that. Songs that’s telling you to let him go, you deserve better, and you’re not going to stay home CRYING. You’re going to be out ‘having your fuuuun’.

“Truth” would have been a perfect addition to “Just Like Me”
Jaheim has a beautiful voice, however “Never” is not timely
Laurie Ann is “Addicted” to crack… stupid ass
Fergie should have ended her run with “Big Girls Don’t Cry”

I have to say that Jaheim is Jaheim. He is one of a kind. He has a sultry soul voice. In my opinion he has only put out the best. Every CD he has made is great from start to finish. Some peeps don’t know what grown folks music is. Well, BOOM there you have it. Tank is okay but he is no comparison to Jaheim. He might have a couple of nice cuts on his CD but it’s not worth the $$$. But as for Jaheim, he is worth every cent. Song for song. It just don’t get any better than that. I know good music and I will have to applaud Jaheim on another job well done. I can’t wait for the CD to drop. I will be first in line because I know what I will be getting.
