T.I. & Ciara – Goodbye, My Dear
My inbox was going off this morning and afternoon with e-mails about this song, and to be completely honest, I don’t see why. This song is rumored to be taken from T.I.’s T.I. vs. T.I.P. sessions and was left off the album. I can definitely see why. Within the first couple of seconds, I was fairly excited with the production, but then when the chorus came on with both T.I. and Ciara’s vocals stacked, I was immediately turned off. The song just kind of seems poorly put together, it’s definitely just not my cup of tea.
In any event, Ciara is still working her second album, The Evolution, with her next single, “That’s Right,” featuring Lil’ John which will have a video shortly, as well as constantly being in the media regarding rumors with rap superstar 50 Cent. T.I. is also set to release a new single from his 5th studio album, T.I. vs. T.I.P..
(Update) Word is T.I. will be releasing it as a single to “American Gangster” movie.

I like it. I like the mixture of just enough hard with soft. Nice song. Reminds me (somewhat) of the Beyonce/Ghostface collabo. That NEVER got radio play and it’s a GREAT song.

So celebrities really can make bad songs!!! The hook sounds horrible and I can see why it was left off of the album. Not a good look.

I Like the song..it had to grown on me but after two listens I thought it was good. Good to see Ciara added for vocals. Regardless if some think its wack, if it was put out as a single it would be a hit…and the video would be straight. There are the biggest names in Hip Hop and R&B right now and the King and Queen of the South.
Janets voice is not really that great….Ciara and Janet’s voices can defenitely compare…but who really does ballads like they did in the 80′s anymore. Beyonce doesn’t even do ballads.
This song is tight! Eventhough, you can tell they didn’t finish it. If it was for King I can see why they didn’t put it on the album because it wouldn’t fit the gangsta vibe of the cd. Ciara sounds good though especially with the ad lib at the end. She sounds better when she sings alto. They need to do it over and take t.i. off the hook though. I’d love to see a video for this. Everyone doesn’t like the same kind of music. Hey if yall don’t like ciara that’s cool because she still has millions of people who do. Ciara is tight/beautiful. The hook is tight. A video would be tight.

I guess I just love T.I. and Ciara is my girl, because when I first heard it I loved it! I have been singing to it ever since. I even have my 6 and 10 year old singing it! Loves it!

There’s a version of this song with Tweet and T.I. now and I have to say the Tweet version is many times better. Same beat same T.I part but the lyrics are a differn except for the chorus.

Don’t care what people say, but i love the song, it has a lot of potential, and i love the way T.I, makes his music! his songs are always different and interesting, he is always bringing something new to rap.

i really admire him cuz does always bring something new to the game.
and i agree, Ciara is not the best singer, but her songs are easy to listen, they don’t get on your nerves like most songs of other divas.
for example i love mariah carey songs, but after i hear them a couple of times, they just get on my nerves.
Ciara has a soft and sweet voise, not like the rest.
She kinda reminds me of Alliah!!!! Alliah was not so stong in vocal songs, but i loved her and still remain to be her fan.
so my opinion is that this song is nice, at least i liked it!

I myself for one love that song it explains alot about me and a relationship that I just not too long ago got myself out of. And just now i’m in a very close relationship with this guy that I am now seeing he’s so sweet and sexy but when i turn that T.I.P. and Ciara on i promise you i dont think the same. It turns me on. . and not only that but it keeps me focused and excited so those are just a couple of my comments
