TUPAC SHAKUR IN POETIC JUSTICE

Eleven years ago today (September 13th), Tupac Shakur passed away from gun shot wound complications stemming from a drive by shooting. Instead of posting one of his music videos, I decided to post a clip from one of his best acting features, Poetic Justice.

I’m sure most people still wonder how far he would have gone on the acting tip, because he had real talent. Anyway, above is a clip from the 1993 cult classic that he co-starred in with Janet Jackson. Rest In Peace.

If Tupac was still alive today alot of these rappers wouldn’t even exist and that includes 50. Jay-z would not have sold as many albums. There is nobody like tupac and never will be. I have all of his albums and saw mostly all his movies. He was good in Above the Rim too.

R.I.P to the best rapper in history.

Tupac is like my favorite rapper because he’s a poet. Its like, he was so deep man. So deep. Alot of ppl now just talk all out of their asses but he has some meaning to whatever he said. He was wonderful. Its just sad how that all went down. Then they still have no leads (thats the lie they’re telling) about his death. His mom sure has put his money to used tho. RIP PAC

  14. MzCynik

Yep…dusted off my “Poetic Justice” movie last weekend… I enjoyed his other movies…but not as much as Poetic Justice, that was my favorite Pac movie. When he was in “Juice”…he was a little scary…eery even. Tripped me out how he killed Khalil Kains character and then went to the funeral!!…..He was a stone cold trip in that movie, very convincing.

To this day…. I have (never) met a man with sexier eyes…his eyes were absolutely gorgeous!!!…He was one sexy thug, and he defintely left too soon.

    R.I.P. Tupac Amaru Shakur.

  16. MACKMAN

HIP HOP WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. RIP TUPAC.

  17. Re: Aries Dyme
Sorry to break it to YOU but Janet discussed that very issue with Angie Martinez. Once I find the audio I’ll upload it and send it to ya ;)

  18. Btw, its still me “warrior princess”. I felt like changing my name/gravatar because I’ve had it since the beginning of time. lol

  19. GINMA

THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME STILL THE KING OF HIPHOP

    R.I.P 2 PAC

  20. RIP PAC WILL ALWAYS LOVE U AND MISS U

  21. gg boo

@ ToniChilds – don’t forget “Are You Still Down” collabo with Jon B. for those stormy nights with your boo!

Man just imagine if Tupac was still around. Can you imagine a Tupac/T-Pain collabo or a Tupac/DJ Khaled mixtape? I wonder who he would have worked with and who he would have been beefin with? 50? Kanye? Lil Wayne? T.I.? Huh…

    RIP

  22. What??

Damn, he was a damn good actor too. He would have went all the way!!

    R.I.P. 2PAC

  23. Naomi18

LORD KNOWS I LOVE THIS MAN
HE WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN HEART

    TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR
    REST IN PEACE

  24. I do wonder how far he would have gotten in acting. When I watch Baby Boy, I tried to picture him playing Jody. What he would have brought different from Tyrees.

  25. LilMamaKatzzz

Angel im sooo glad dat ya posted this, thank u!! This movie is 1 of my favourites.

Tupac is a legend, he changed my life!!! his memory will never die, cause we will always remember him. he died when he was at da top.

Tupac is my Hero. i miss him very much & im also mad dat hes gone.
    R.I.P.

  26. R.I.P. Pac!!!

    Still my fav. Rapper!!!

  27. Call me silly but I’m still waiting for him to come back. There would be no Jay-Z status, Lil Wayne, 50, DMX is Pac was still here. He had all them niccas shook and scared. He is loved and missed.

  28. sorry.. if Pac was here

    I got a little emotional

  29. WTF?

I find it funny, when Jigga did a diss to him, hid it when he died, but mimics Tupac (Me and My Girlfriend) like he had love for him. There sure wouldn’t be no Jigga, Tupac would of “put a couple careers on hold” including Jigga.

  30. me

I still miss Tupac. Half of the industry bit him after he died, and there will never be another like him. I stiil remember the day the news of his death flashed across the bottom of the screen during a BET program. He made you feel like you knew him. I like Poetic Justice, but he really put it down in Juice. For those of u who aren’t up on that, definitely check it out. I think he was kind of playing himself in Juice.

  31. Dee

A Void in Life no one will ever be able to fulfill. Miss you Pac RIP

“I beg to differ, jayz status my ass. Aint nobody checkin to put jayz’s ugly ass in no films no time soon, so, i think you had that one sentence backwards. Because even before his death, alot felt Tupac was the best and most prolific rapper out (though some argued Biggie was ahead of him.) But please don’t mention Jayz’s commercial ass…he raps about nothing, just fake and commercial.”

    AGREED

Jay-Z is nothing but a poser. He is only interested in going Hollywood. I truly believe that is his reason for hooking up with B.

  34. halcyonc

“Yall remeber when she wanted 2pac to take an AIDS test for there kissing sceen??!?!?!?”

Janets needs to stop pretending with her freaky self.

  35. halcyonc

Janet knows she wanted or had more than a kiss from TUPAC. By this time, didn’t we already know that you couldn’t get aids from kissing? Who is she trying to fool?

  36. ti

I love Tupac!!! I just watched poetic justice 2 days ago!He was and still and always will be my favorite rapper…no one can even compare.Even though I miss him and his death was tragic….I know that he is in a much better place…just havin fun and watchin over us all as is Biggie,Aaliyah,Lefteye, and all of the other fallen angels, there is no such thing as death, only a transition to a higher plane, death is the door to a much better life…and I can’t wait til I get there see ya soon Pac!
