TUPAC SHAKUR IN POETIC JUSTICE

Thursday, September 13, 2007

Eleven years ago today (September 13th), Tupac Shakur passed away from gun shot wound complications stemming from a drive by shooting. Instead of posting one of his music videos, I decided to post a clip from one of his best acting features, Poetic Justice.

I’m sure most people still wonder how far he would have gone on the acting tip, because he had real talent. Anyway, above is a clip from the 1993 cult classic that he co-starred in with Janet Jackson. Rest In Peace.

Yep…dusted off my “Poetic Justice” movie last weekend… I enjoyed his other movies…but not as much as Poetic Justice, that was my favorite Pac movie. When he was in “Juice”…he was a little scary…eery even. Tripped me out how he killed Khalil Kains character and then went to the funeral!!…..He was a stone cold trip in that movie, very convincing.

To this day…. I have (never) met a man with sexier eyes…his eyes were absolutely gorgeous!!!…He was one sexy thug, and he defintely left too soon.

R.I.P. Tupac Amaru Shakur.

Sorry to break it to YOU but Janet discussed that very issue with Angie Martinez. Once I find the audio I’ll upload it and send it to ya ;)

@ ToniChilds - don’t forget “Are You Still Down” collabo with Jon B. for those stormy nights with your boo!

Man just imagine if Tupac was still around. Can you imagine a Tupac/T-Pain collabo or a Tupac/DJ Khaled mixtape? I wonder who he would have worked with and who he would have been beefin with? 50? Kanye? Lil Wayne? T.I.? Huh…

RIP

I do wonder how far he would have gotten in acting. When I watch Baby Boy, I tried to picture him playing Jody. What he would have brought different from Tyrees.

Call me silly but I’m still waiting for him to come back. There would be no Jay-Z status, Lil Wayne, 50, DMX is Pac was still here. He had all them niccas shook and scared. He is loved and missed.

WTF?

I find it funny, when Jigga did a diss to him, hid it when he died, but mimics Tupac (Me and My Girlfriend) like he had love for him. There sure wouldn’t be no Jigga, Tupac would of “put a couple careers on hold” including Jigga.

I still miss Tupac. Half of the industry bit him after he died, and there will never be another like him. I stiil remember the day the news of his death flashed across the bottom of the screen during a BET program. He made you feel like you knew him. I like Poetic Justice, but he really put it down in Juice. For those of u who aren’t up on that, definitely check it out. I think he was kind of playing himself in Juice.

“I beg to differ, jayz status my ass. Aint nobody checkin to put jayz’s ugly ass in no films no time soon, so, i think you had that one sentence backwards. Because even before his death, alot felt Tupac was the best and most prolific rapper out (though some argued Biggie was ahead of him.) But please don’t mention Jayz’s commercial ass…he raps about nothing, just fake and commercial.”

AGREED

Jay-Z is nothing but a poser. He is only interested in going Hollywood. I truly believe that is his reason for hooking up with B.

Janet knows she wanted or had more than a kiss from TUPAC. By this time, didn’t we already know that you couldn’t get aids from kissing? Who is she trying to fool?

I love Tupac!!! I just watched poetic justice 2 days ago!He was and still and always will be my favorite rapper…no one can even compare.Even though I miss him and his death was tragic….I know that he is in a much better place…just havin fun and watchin over us all as is Biggie,Aaliyah,Lefteye, and all of the other fallen angels, there is no such thing as death, only a transition to a higher plane, death is the door to a much better life…and I can’t wait til I get there see ya soon Pac!
