As we stated yesterday, Usher and Tameka got married in a grand ceremony over the weekend. Here are a few photos and some commentary on the wedding.
Usher and Tameka Raymond were married over the weekend before family members and a few celebrity friends in an elegant ceremony at Chateau Elan Winery and Resort outside of Atlanta.
Celebrity wedding planner Diann Valentine designed the lavish reception which was held in a custom tent decked out in lush red tones. The happy couple chose “Before I Let Go” by Frankie Beverly and Maze for their first dance and also enjoyed dancing to a song the groom wrote for his bride called “Here I Stand.” Their guests danced to DJs D-Nice and Doug E. I don’t truly know the circumstances around this relationship and it seems kindy iffy to me, but I’m just glad seeing two black people loving each other romantically. Nothing more beautiful to me.

At the end of the day you gotta respect a man for making and sticking with his decision to do right and commit to the woman he loves and will spend his life with. Even above his fans’ and his own mother’s objections.
That’s the woman he will hopefully spend the rest of his life with. Nobody but they know what bonds them, as is how it should be.
Hopefully, when it’s time for some of us to make that choice, we’ll do the same regardless of what other people think.

U know even though having a child is the worst reason to “stay in a realtionship just because”. While everyone is dissing Ursher, if his husband really is pregnant, he’s doing what many brothers DONT DO he’s STEPPING UP, BEING A MAN and taking care of his repsonsibilities. I don’t get it. Her claim to fame is to be a stylist. This wedding looks boring. Nothing stylish about it. It’s fine to be traditional but they could have done better. Furthermore he looks like a little kid that doesn’t know any better as he gazes into her eyes. He is so blind right now. Poor thing. I honestly want to like Tameka. It doesn’t matter that she has kids and isn’t all that attractive but the fact that she’s a big no-no to his mom is what concerns me. Mama knows best and if she doesn’t like the woman, something has to be wrong. His mama has always had his best interest at heart and this is no different. I wish them the best but I expect the worse.
