Alicia Keys premiered the video to her much talked about new song, “No One” on BET’s 106 & Park on Monday. I didn’t get to the catch the studio interview afterwards, so if you did, please fill us in via the comment area.
Alicia has definitely changed her sound and style completely on this album and I can’t wait to hear the final result. Her third studio album, As I Am will be in stores on November 13th.
why do people keep saying shes gay in a old interview she said how shes been going out with krucial keys since she was like 14 hes at the end of the video

Alicia Key is a very talented artist whos album is one I look forward to and no matter how she sounds her music is always perfect!!! I love her and I am a huge fan!!!! Keep it up girl…
The video is OK and the song is OK and it’s not because she wasn’t shaking her ass or people didn’t “get it” there’s not much to get. The video was simple and easy to follow and the lyrics of the song are pretty common and we’ve heard the message of unbreakable love a miilion times before even from Alicia. I just don’t find Alicia to be “Deep” as some of you stated most of her songs are the typical love songs you’ll find most RnB singers singing just alittle more well written but Deep, not really. I guess since she’s one of the only young black artist that is still doing straight up RnB music people make her out to be more than she really is. She a good artist just not as phenominal as some people make her out to be in my opinion.

The ending of the video is real cheesy.
I still think this song is a remake of “where is the the love”. It’s so incredibly generic. I can’t believe people are going crazy over this? And the vocals are still painful.

I like the song. The fact that she was horse and she still went into the studio to record without drinking her tea with honey or whatever upsets me. Now I cant get through the song. She needs prepare her voice before studio time and cut out certain foods and bad habbits she is rumored to have had. She is very talented and need to treat her voice like God’s Gift

. Anyways, I did think her voice sounded a little raspy and like she was trying to hard to hit her notes. I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but it kinda made the song sound good. I will be buying her album though because Alicia Keys is one of my favorite artists. That is just one song off of the entire album. I would like to hear the rest of it.

This album and her new videos do nothing to reject the notion that she isn’t a lesbian. Despite the new wardrobe, she doesn’t interact with men at all in her video, and the song – like gay Luther Van Dross’ songs – are very gender unspecific. She thinks because of her “hard edge” debut that people were thinking she is gay – but she missed the mark. Her unwillingness to go the extra mile and PROVE that she ISN’T gay is what persuades people that she IS.
She needs to sing specifically about a man; she needs to have a man or men in her videos who actually interact with her, even touch and show affection with her and vice versa. She needs to get her ass from behind that piano and start showing some sexuality – otherwise people will assume she is gay whether she is or not. Making a statement is not going to do it – show us a man in your life, Alicia! Or are you one of those man-hating lesbians who can’t even “pretend” for the sake of your income(?) – in which case you need to just stop denying the obvious!
why am I so interested? Because she is a beautiful and talented young lady – whose music I can listen to – but not if it’s celebrating lesbianism! I fantasize about this sexy woman singing to ME – not to my sister or mother… that’s just something I cannot get with – sorry!
