Mr. Ye needs to stop. He does make some valid points on some issues. However, because he has whined & complained so much, MTV doesn’t care anymore & will make sure to not play him this time. Ye needs to be careful because he needs more than BET to be successful. I wonder if this will hurt his sales.

This Diva has no excuse to act the way he did. What a disgrace and he is setting a bad example. The VMA’s aren’t important anymore, there is so little prestige in these wack-ass MTV awards. India.Arie was nominated for SEVEN GRAMMY’S in 2002–she didn’t win a single one. BUT SHE REMAINED HUMBLE AND GOT OVER THE LOSS, DESPITE BEING UPSET. SHE EVEN WROTE THE SONG “LITTLE THINGS” TO HELP GET OVER THE INCIDENT. Kanye, like India, should channel his sorrow into doing something constructive and creative–something which can compensate for the sadness.

No one will probably read this post but my best friend works for MTV and has a HUGE role in the making and creation of the award shows on MTV ( I don’t want to say her title `cause I don’t wanna get her in trouble in case some one actually does read this LOLOL) She said that they actually have meetings about how to stir up controversy at the shows, esp. the VMA’s. They knew Britney was going to do bad. She specifically asked not to be put on before Sarah Silverman b/c she saw how she ripped in to Paris at the Movie Awards. They said they wouldn’ t do it and went against their word. Not only did they put Silverman on after Britney, they put Britney in the vicinity of Silverman to hear her jokes. With Kayne they knew he would through a hissy fit so they told him he would perform on the main stage and then at the last minute they changed their minds, hence the “convenient” video tape of the outburst.

I understand some comments but it’s hard to really judge a situation until you have the whole facts. Sure Ye looked like a big cry baby, but why and why were cameras there at that exact moment to capture the whole incident. Britney was just plain horrible, she is a professional and should have delivered more, shoot Beyonce fell down a flight of steps got back up and did the damn thing, so there is no excuse but MTV did exploit her as well.

FIrst I thought it was ridiculous that he values awards to show how good he is. But after listening to him on Hot 97, I truly understand his feeling on the situation.
