Another hot topic stemming from the VMAs (hey the show sucked, but it has everyone talking) is Kanye West’s alleged tantrum after he didn’t win any awards. He sat down with New York’s HOT 97 earlier today and spoke on the whole incident. He basically says that his whole issue wasn’t that he didn’t win an award, it’s that MTV lied and used him. Kanye felt the need to speak about how he feels about his experiance at the MTV VMA’s ahich he has the authority to do. he does not need to shut up! The man has the number one single and his album is going to be hot. And everyone knows he’s cocky as ever so why is everyone surprised. That’s kanye. Anyone else that didn’t speak out probably didn’t care or is afriad to voice their opinion. But that’s what I like about kanye! he’s not a punk and will say what’s on his mind. I respect kanye’s artistry too much to hate. His performance in the suite was the crunkest looking performance and looked more fun then the actual award show.Props to chris brown, alicia and rihanna, though. Kanye definatey has worked his but off and if he felt he deserved more limelight then so be it. Case Closed.

I’m sorry, but Kanye is so overrated. Half the stuff that he does are either samples or remakes. Some said that Kanye was basically Diddy Version 2.0, and they’re right. It would be nice if he could think outside of the box for once and come up with some 100% original material.

First of all MTV is not for us and basically what Kanye said about them using him proves it. I can understand where he is coming from. You know that you worked hard at something and expect it to be widely received and basically get pushed out of the main spotlight for other artists. It’s all a money game.

That was a good interview. There is always three sides to a story, Theirs, yours and the truth hopefully now that his album has been released they will let Ye’ get his shine. You can let this album ride the whole way through.

Britney Spears being the opening act was and still is a joke, and him wanting to be the opening act was justified by her terrible performance, its funny how someone blamed MTV for Britneyt sucking when she was the only one on stage that didn’t really know the choreography, was on stage with a bit of a gut, and still can’t sing.
Kanye admitted that he is a competitor and being a competitor myself I don’t like to lose anything, so if he’s anything like me in terms of being competitive then he’s going to be pissed when he doesn’t win something no matter how big or small it is, I would rather him want to continue to push himself and try to improve then just making to the same songs and beats over and over again.
