That was a good interview. There is always three sides to a story, Theirs, yours and the truth hopefully now that his album has been released they will let Ye’ get his shine. You can let this album ride the whole way through.

I find his comments comical Kanye knows how how the music business works its all about publicity, promotion and money which explains why selective videos get played on MTV, VH1, BET etc so his comments about being used, like its something new that he knew nothing about is just bull. I have cousins that sing backup in the industry and he knows how it works so for him to catch feelins when its him on the receiving end is just sour grapes. I mean come on Kanye ain’t new to the game so stop all the whining already and take it like a man.

I understand, his tantrum now, I can’t blame him, I would hate to be manipulated, and used like that. But then again it’s his downfall, he had other motives by accepting that (ie. going to the euro awards or you’ll win video of the year, man of the year mag, etc.) Don’t hate on him for trying to be so competitive! He speaks the truth about MTV though and how they have become so celebrity oriented, it’s not about the music anymore. Kanye says what people think. I ain’t mad at him. He’s confrontational. Proves to me he has character and he’s not afraid to say whats on his mind, even if it’s about MTV and putting them on blast. On some levels you have to admire that.

I’m not the biggest Kanye fan even though I do like him, but what did he do that was so bad. I saw what he did on the European VMAs and thought it was a little weird but now that he has explained everything I understand.

The people who have posted and hated Kanye didn’t like him anyway and are just trying to find a reason to pile on. If what he says is true about being lied to then he deserves to be pissed and anyone who says that they wouldn’t be at least a little upset is kidding themselves.

Britney Spears being the opening act was and still is a joke, and him wanting to be the opening act was justified by her terrible performance, its funny how someone blamed MTV for Britneyt sucking when she was the only one on stage that didn’t really know the choreography, was on stage with a bit of a gut, and still can’t sing.

Kanye admitted that he is a competitor and being a competitor myself I don’t like to lose anything, so if he’s anything like me in terms of being competitive then he’s going to be pissed when he doesn’t win something no matter how big or small it is, I would rather him want to continue to push himself and try to improve then just making to the same songs and beats over and over again.

Okay Kanye…be a big boy about this. I’ve had enough with his childish rants!! Where is his fiance? She needs to be encouraging him to grow up and stop whinning all the damn time…dayum! Lol

Big fan.. and I understand and appreciate your passion.. I’ve learned in life that the more you let them know that you want something… the harder they will work to keep it from ya. Yes, they will use you for ratings.. but hey, your using them as well.. There are so many other factors that come into play when decisions regarding who gets those awards. In the grand scheme of things, it doesnt really matter.. It takes self confidence to not look to other for validation..You got the skills and you know it..dont give them the satisfaction…

You will begin to lose fans if you continue focus on such small things.. Your “big brother” moves in silence.. I really enjoy Kanye as an artist and as a man. He makes a lot of positive music for black people unlike 50 Cent (constant shoot em up music) whom brings down black community. I think Kanye has every right to be angry, I would have showed out too if they lied and manipulated me like that too. At the end of the day everything he is speaking about in this interview is the truth and we should appreciate that.
