This song been on the radio station in Georgia for a while now and I’m feelin it. She should have been released this as a single. The video is cool though, I’m still a fan of Mya so I hope she can find a release date.

I LOVED this song when I first heard it. The video’s not the best, but this song is the best I’ve heard from Mya in a while. Keep workin at it girl, and EFF the haters!

the haters that say they never went “ridin” are lying. i dont know a woman that never done it at least once. if u have never went “ridin’ then u cant comment on a song that u dont know nothing about. how can u voice your opinion about a song that u dont know nothing about or have never experienced. thats crazy!! and to say u never done it and would never for any man. never say never! the song is basically saying ” IF YOU CANT TRUST A MAN OR WOMAN U DONT NEED THEM IN YOUR LIFE” if u have been through this or are going through it u will definitely be able to relate. to this song. mya is telling a story of her past experience. to the ones who dont understand how a woman can be that way about a man. if u never experience ridin u should be able to at least relate. this song is not for everyone. only for the ones who can relate. some of yall probably dont even have a permit or license!! lol!!

Mya sounds pretty good on this track. She’s been gone for awhile and I think this song could be the start of something, depending on what the rest of the cd sounds like. As for the track, “Ridin’”, sounds like a deep, dark, place alot of us women end up when we’re not careful. Why do we allow all of our leverage to be disseminated in a night? Do we not believe we’re worth a loyal and respectful relationship? Men know this ahead of time and they look for women willing to forgive their impulsivity and greed. We let them get that off! Holla!

I like Mya, always have. I think it’s a nice song and video, and she’s beautiful as usual. I just think the industry is very shallow, and they’re always looking for the new best thing, So, as an artist, you really only have a “short” time in the industry, unless you luck out like beyonce (who did a smart thing by the way by first starting with a group and then going solo). That’s why Mya, Brandy, Shanice, none of them are going to be able to make a real comeback. The days of having a 20 year singing career like Madonna and Whitney are over, because the industry is so saturated with artists.
